Manty people want this ban over turned. They want to be able to walk freely and allow there dogs to not be muzzled and restricted. One wrong move and the dog is gone. People with these breeds are walking on eggshells to be able to keep there dog.

How hard is muzzling your dog?

In the UK you are required to muzzlw your dog. This is requiring more training to practice getting it on the dog. More training equals more money. Now that they are banned, bully's are very expensive to be able to have do to needing to keep up with registrations.

The ban is official.

December 31, 2023 is a date that changed many peoples life's. The bully ban was put in place for the UK. What caused this to happen? There was 2 bully's that attacked and killed someone. With that, the ban was put in place. Anyone with a bully breed must be registered, muzzled, and on a short leash. No selling, buying, or trading bully breeds of any kind. You will be find and any dog that even looks like a bully breed will be stopped and questioned.

How do vets feel about this ban?

The bully breed ban can as a surprise to a lot of people. With it being put in place so fast, many people are trying to change the governments mind by stating that they want to provide better training for the bully breeds. It not only stressed owners, but vets.
too. Vets have an oath they swore by to not euthanize perfectly healthy dogs. Eith this ban in place it changes a lot of perspective on how they feel agreeing to this. They don't want to put down heathy dog but it also against the law if the requirements are not met to keep the dog with the owner.

Do you love your dog? What would you do if your fur baby was banned?

A campaign group had came together legally to try to overturn the ban on bully breeds. This group spoke out to the fact that they have groups dedicated to trying to save this breed. There would be a lot of people losing homes from this ban of bully
breeds. They also explained that trying to provide muzzles is not only hard for the dog because of the shape of the head, but also will be costly. The economy is rough. People just want their fur baby's and not have issues. Not all breeds are the same.
