Thanks our veterinary assistants and technicians at TVV Westside for what they do and who they are! Happy 2022 Veterinary Technician Week. And what a week they had. Each day our wonderful veterinary product vendors provided an over abundance of food and other goodies. There is no doubt about it, the way into the hearts any of our The Village Vets team members is through their bellies. In all sincerity, we could not do all that we do and as well as we do it without our outstanding veterinary tech teams. ❤️

People Pets & Pancakes!!! At TVV Decatur Ponce what better way to celebrate our veterinary assistants and technicians for 2022 Veterinary Tech Week….pancakes. (Thank you Elanco!) And there was so much more hoopla throughout this week and celebration of these remarkable men and women who day in and day out devote 💯love, time, energy, and expertise caring for the many pets that come through our doors every day. Our Dream Team all the way!

Happy Veterinary Technician week 2022! This is our Virginia Highland team celebrating today in their own way but everyday this week has been fun and eventful for them. This exact same week of every year Is Veterinary Technician Week. A time that veterinary hospitals, veterinarians, pet owners, etc. recognizes and expresses gratitude to all our hard-working, devoted, and incredible veterinary assistants and veterinary technicians. It is not to say however that these individuals do not deserve that same gratitude and recognition every other week of the year. They deserve it because they’ve earned it. We especially want to honor our great team of veterinary assistants For all that they have done and continue to do to make The Village Vets the great practice it is today. We could not by any means do what we do without them.

We are so happy that our veterinary assistants and technicians are not required as part of their job to master the piñata because quite obviously that little paper unicorn has gotten the best of them! 😂😁🦄🍬🍭🍫🍬

TONGUE-OUT TUESDAY!! 👅👅👅👅 It was definitely meant to be when we received one of our New Client Forms yesterday from Kalyn with this adorable photo of Pickles attached, at the exact same time we were looking for a photo that would be appropriate for a fun Tuesday post. Voilà! Minds were blown 🤯as you might imagine. Two seconds later I was communicating with Kalyn asking her if we could pretty please post Pickles’ photo on our social media. We immediately received a response back from Kalyn that read “Of course! This has has made my day!“
When I asked if she wanted to share anything about Pickles she immediately replied….. “Pickles has the funniest little personality I’ve ever seen in a dog. I rescued her a little over a year ago and she’s been my shadow ever since. I really can’t put into words how special of a dog she is”
The human-animal bond never ceases to amaze us with all the love and happiness it brings into our lives.😛😋🤪😜😝🤪😜😝

Cousin Frida has been practicing her puffed up screechy scary kitty face for Halloween and it just was not happening……until she happened upon a smiling fuzzy pickle! Now that’s the look she was going for! Who knew - a smiling fuzzy pickle. Weearryyrr! Hiss!

Oh Clem. 🫣🤭 Yesterday a lot of moms and/or dads posted and shared photos of their daughters- even some people posted photos of their four-legged children. So our friend and Avondale neighbor, Amy, felt inspired to post a picture of her cat, Clem. With her iPhone pointed right at her sweet, laidback kitty, she, by habit, calls out…“Cheese”. And Clem being her usual cheeseball self immediately flipped over, pushed up and contorted herself sideways toward the camera - looking as if she would be saying…“CHEEEEZ”!!! 🎶Daughters just wanna have fun.🎵

This past week was a really big week for Dipper! Well now if we are going to be on the truth side of things - pretty much every week is a big week for this little stand-up-hair dog. Meaning he is super spoiled and constantly entertained with a life full of adventure. Life as it should be for a once homeless lovedless dog. He was in our Avondale location this week seeing our good ol’ Dr. Will , his buddy, his pal. Dr. Draper just so happens to like those little wiry-haired dogs, with all their hiss-and-spit, vim-and-vigor, piss-and-grit. So that was a joyous experience at the vet that day and then one day later was an all-out celebration of Digger’s Gotcha Day #4! BOOM! BOOM 💣🧨🎆🎇 Darn right this was a good week to celebrate his glorious adoption by the two best daddies that ever were, so he says and so we know. Timothy and Billy truly love this little dog, and this sweet boy life now is a true testament to that. 💚💜💙
