Here’s a wonderful adoption update for you! Great AHOTO adopter Wynne writes:

“Thanks for reaching out. Indy (formerly Sasha) is doing well! She's very social, snuggly, and sweet. She loves going to daycare (some pictures attached) and lounging around with me on the couch watching tv and napping. She's mastered 'sit' but is still learning how to walk better on the leash and not jump on people-we're gonna do a few private training sessions to work on it since the group class wasn't sufficient.
She is so sweet and makes friends everywhere she goes with people and dogs and cats too!
I've attached some pictures including some action shots from her daycare.
Thanks again for rescuing her from SC!
She is a great little dog and a good girl.”

“Hi! My name is Drax, I’m up for adoption at AHOTO, and I can’t wait to meet you, because I love everybody! People, kids, cats, other dogs - as far as I’m concerned, they’re all just friends I haven’t met yet! Whether you’re looking for a big outdoor adventure or a cozy cuddle on the couch, count me in - I’m happy to help.

I’m just one year old, so you know I’m full of fun, but I also have this whole ‘walking on a leash’ thing down already, and always try to be on my best behavior - I’m even learning cool new tricks (I get treats if I do them right! I mean, making my friends happy and getting yummy snacks? What could be better?!)

My wonderful foster mom wanted to add: “Drax is a total goofball! He loves to play but also can chill and cuddle. Very affectionate and loving to his human. Starting to learn commands and very food motivated. Great with other dogs!”

Snow Day Adoption Update!
Did your pets ever seen snow before? How did they respond the first time they saw it? Because for lucky AHOTO alum Elbie (fka Gio), yesterday was a great day! Awesome adopter Leah writes:

“I adopted Gio (now named Elbie) on 10/20 after meeting him the day before and my heart breaking for him that he had been in foster care for months with no forever home. I will admit it was challenging in the beginning, but we have formed such a bond over the past 2+ months and I can't imagine my life without him now!
He's quite shy and is very anxious around new people so it takes time to gain his trust but he is so sweet and playful and just a joy to have around.
Being from Puerto Rico he had never seen snow so I was curious how he'd respond on this morning's walk, and while he was a bit confused at first, soon he was jumping and running around and absolutely loving it. I'm so grateful that I was in a position to help give him a loving home and so glad I found your organization.
Thanks again”.
