Andre is the sweetest boy. He is a Groodle. He has been a weekly client of mine since he was 6 months old and will be 14 years old next month. He's full of lumps, bumps and warts and now comes 6 weekly. He's my longest surviving client... since I was a trainee groomer at the vet clinic. This boy has a golden ticket to my heart. ❤️

No more big floofy haircuts. This is a comfort groom that is less tiring for him and maintains longer as it would be too exhausting to bath him weekly nowadays. He can't step up into the bath anymore and the concrete salon floor is too slippery so he gets lifted, carried and provided with carpet to rest and wait for dad.

Free Dog Grooming....

We're looking for a couple of wonderful dogs for a private grooming training day.

*Yorkie or Silky or cavalier.
* must have long enough coat for the groom style.
* must be reasonably good to groom.
* must be available on Thursday 14th Sept.

This groom will be offered free of charge to the right doggie applicants. Please contact us to apply with photos.

Please share if you know someone with either of these breeds who would love a free spring spruce-up.

Please pay close attention to your older cats. Cody is 16 years and 8 months old and has understandably given up on any self care. After removing all the matted coat and you can see the patches left from the matting. The kindest treatment is to keep them regularly trimmed to prevent the matting from reoccurring. We did not bathe Cody this visit because at his age we need to separate into shorter more manageable visits. ❤️

Miss Luna is a little sooky for her nail trim. Funnily the song on the radio was Boy George singing 'Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry?' At least she wasn't making the Anthony sing it. Lol

Does your cat look dishevelled, hairy and smelly? Here is Rosie's Rags to Riches makeover.

Rosie has had many grooms before with varying successes or disappointments. She's had vet shaves and comb outs but Rosie wasn't happy and neither was mum. They just hadn't found Rosie's perfect groom until today. What she needed was a total spa package ❤️ Bath, massage, warm towel wrap, ears and facial clean, blowdry, nail trim, and deshed. Phew! She was a total makeover but polished up like brand new.

Rosie was an absolute pleasure to groom and mum can finally see the results she's been dreaming of.

There is nothing better to cuddle than a clean, fresh and deshed kitty! I can't wait to see you again.

Our updated prices start today. While our smaller dogs are seeing a $5/$10 rise it is the large and giant dogs that are seeing a significant price increase. This isn't without a heap of careful consideration on our behalf. We know you all love the amazing grooms that we can produce but you can also see the hours we pour into each large dog groom. We see this adjustment as recognising the considerable effort these big kids take and feel that these prices are closer to a more reasonable reflection of that work.
