I'm a female named Bodie, medium sized 4 years old, looking for a home that will love me although I'm afraid of hands coming near my face. I need a person who is not into cuddling or petting their dog like most people but instead to love me how I am. I am non aggressive, only situational due to my past. I'm am very well mannered and trained.

I am a cocker mix that loves to run after thrown toys and lay on my dog bed next to yours.

I am fine with cats and dogs of all sizes and ages. I'm fine alone as well. No condos or children though. I'm a great companion and love car rides!! and beaches and lakeshore and swimming!

If want to know more and take me in even though less than perfect, I'll be a good girl if not want to reach towards me (sorry I can over react thinking I am going to be hit and grabbed).

Very pregnant recent rescue mama dog walked through gate that blew open on COCHRANE ACREAGE late yesterday afternoon and not been able to find her. Leaving gate open over night in hopes will wander back in, only to find a herd of deer early this morning!
We posted on other local media, if seen please call/text us asap. We are very worried about her and searching...

BREED: Shepherd mix
GENDER: Male
AGE: 9 weeks as of Nov. 1
SIZE/WEIGHT: Large when full grown. Has big paws likely be a big boy when all grown up.
TEMPERAMENT: Easy going, playful. Super loving.
PERSONALITY: Loves to run and interact with all animals, plays with kids and cats well. Loves to follow directions, learn new things Very intelligent.
SOCIALIZATION SKILLS/NEEDS: Coby is very social, isn’t intimidated by loud noise. The gorgeous big puppy enjoys being in the office meeting and greeting new people daily!
PETS NEEDS/BEHAVIOURAL INFO: Being so young, potty training is still needed. However, he does try and remember to sit at the door to go outside; and is very vocal when he wants something. Super smart boy.
BEST MATCH: an active family who loves to be outdoors and near the water. An adopter who offers ongoing learning skills, clickers are best! Maybe Agility sport for fun of following instruction. Perhaps Search & Rescue. Needs mental stimulation since is highly intelligent. Active lifestyle and if looking to continue with Basic obedience and more, a great dog to take with you to work!
FAVORITE THINGS: Chew toys, frolicking in the tall grass, running and playing with other dogs. Car rides, dog parks, hiking, adventures to lakes.

Feral (RESCUED HOMELESS) fearful, never handled husky mixes, 3 month, and a shy sweet 2 year) looking for foster care, good fencing, one on one feeding, access to inside near people. Easy to tame, mainly takes time and close proximity. Non aggressive just scared due to being born homeless, not near people and no good encounters with humans till now with hand feeding.

Fostering dogs has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling experiences of my life. To be a part of, and to witness their miraculous transformation is absolutely beautiful! Harry spent 8 years now at a shelter cage in Bahrain with over 200 rescues awaiting homes. He had a short two weeks in adopted home, then returned. He and Zelda, two Very lucky ones arriving into Vancouver International Airport June 20 and we are looking for one of our volunteers that can meet the plane, as well as either foster or transport to Calgary. Such sweetness....remember this kitty-cat, rescued from a huge dump pile, we meowed and she meowed back and came out and over to us....here she is with her rescued pup who was also found homeless and injured at the same dump years back. Both now live together and truly enjoy playing with each other.🥰

I'm currently back home in California, Santa Cruz, where I grew up and currently coordinating rescue in Alberta and took this yesterday after a terrific vegan festival I attended with incredible booths, food, people, rescue...I'mj getting in touch with my vet here to help his dog. Our Story

Focusing on rescuing homeless dogs and cats from harsh environments and overcrowded shelters, rehabilitate them and match to adopter's and pets needs. We also try our best to educate about animal welfare. One of the best ways to educate is through the importance of spay and neuter.

We are moving forward, after 20 years of rescue in Alberta, to fundraise for an official rescue rehab adoption center. It’s badly needed since many dogs can often be rescued from homelessness with the help of the First Nations communities in Canada, and we need a place for these dogs to go when they first arrive.
