Super playful kittens that have an amazing kitty jungle gym in foster mom's home, Pixie is on the left, sister Houdini next to her.

We know what you're thinking! They should get adopted together! We agree! In most cases, cats enjoy the company of other cats.

Of course, we are happy they are no longer in frigid temperatures outdoors and get to have a loving, warm life with food! They were so skinny when we got the call to take them and two other cats.
If looking to have furry, purring, funny, loving pets in your home, apply here! RockyMountainAnimalRescue.com

We'd like to be your Christmas gift! Pixie and Houdini are excited to be in a warm Furever home. Rescued from outdoors in the cold, they are playful kittens now.

And, Why yes! Christmas is a great time to get a pet! For those staying at home and have friends and family over, it's wonderful time for dog socialization and time home from work to teach rules, boundaries, leash work if thick furred dog, dog park if a mild day. Why wait! Rescued dogs and cats need homes during holidays that had been out in freezing cold.

These two darlings are in foster care in Canmore.

Looking for monthly support, a small donation monthly from a few of you could make a huge difference.
We have over 24,000 members if we work together, and each member only donated a toonie a month. we would raise thousands per month, and we could save so many puppies and kittens. Knowing we have monthly support would allow us to extend our services to preventative, not just reactive.
Please consider becoming a monthly supporter by setting up an etransfer to [email protected]. Thank you to all for your support throughout the years!

Nellie, on the left, as sweet as sweet can be, is ready now for her furever home. Rescued with her siblings and emaciated starving young mother, Nellie's sister has been adopted by the wonderful foster family in Canmore and wouldn't it be great if Nellie found a home too in the community! They can then visit each other at dog park and walks, and who knows....maybe hiking excursion!
Please cross post for us if in Canmore!

Small heeler mixes, estimate 35 lbs when full grown. Mother was quite small and petite with wonderful calm disposition. Would be fine as a condo dog💙💙as long as take out daily for running at dog park and meeting other dogs to play.🐾🐾🐾🌲🌲🌱🌿🐾🐾🌲🌲⛄️

Maximilian looking for his forever home
Max is a gentle and affectionate Collie mix who loves being the center of attention. He's calm indoors and gets along well with other dogs. While he hasn't been around children or cats, he's quickly learned basic commands like sit, stay, and is working on leash walking. He has shown some separation anxiety, but with patience and training, he's making progress. Max is an energetic pup who loves to explore, so a secure yard is essential. He's a quick learner and will thrive in a loving home with owners committed to ongoing training and socialization.
Come meet Max Sunday at Animal House Pet Store Revelstoke

Our Story

Focusing on rescuing homeless dogs and cats from harsh environments and overcrowded shelters, rehabilitate them and match to adopter's and pets needs. We also try our best to educate about animal welfare. One of the best ways to educate is through the importance of spay and neuter.

We are moving forward, after 20 years of rescue in Alberta, to fundraise for an official rescue rehab adoption center. It’s badly needed since many dogs can often be rescued from homelessness with the help of the First Nations communities in Canada, and we need a place for these dogs to go when they first arrive.
