SEVHS High School Summer Camp: Explore Animal Welfare Careers

The Southeast Volusia Humane Society is offering an immersive summer camp for teens between the ages of 14-18 that will highlight important animal-related issues in a fun, engaging atmosphere. Campers will learn about responsible pet ownership and meet various kinds of pets. They will understand animal behavior and learn the importance of compassion towards all living creatures. Through interactive workshops, games, and hands-on activities, participants will develop a deeper appreciation for the welfare of animals in our community.

Our camp includes guest presenters from TM Canine Services, 421 K-9 SAR, Guardians of the Wolves, NSB K-9, Volusia County Animal Services, and more! Participate in activities like Pack Walks, Arts & Crafts, an Agility Course, Enrichment activities, and more!

Beginner Course (Ages 14-18)

Week 1: 6/24 - 6/27
Week 2: 7/8 - 7/11
Advanced Course (Ages 16-18)
HOURS: 8am - 3pm

Week 1: 7/1 - 7/4
Week 2: 7/15 - 7/18
HOURS: 8am - 3pm

Cost: $150 per week.

I hate these times! The times when I have to say goodbye. This one is different, Charlie(charles I call him) is moving on to the Westcoast side of the country. I ve had many good years with him, and his family, but I can no longer be selfish and must let him go😘. This was our last day together for grooming and finally he was in to it, even gave me a air kiss .......smart charles knew he didn't have to deal with my shenanigans anymore🤣🥲💜🐾
