Our facility offers three riding arenas and multiple trails f
or you to enjoy. We offer a covered arena, a large outdoor sand round arena, and a 200' x 175' rodeo arena. Additionally we have a 60' Round pen, Hot walker, and Calf Saver Roping Machine for Breakaway practice.
Boarding is only offered for clients in training or competing with Red Horse Training.
We ❤️ love it when our p*ewee students are so eager to help in the barn after lessons. Brinley and Peyton did a fantastic job helping Miss Caitlin and Working Student Brennan organize the grooming station.

Special congratulations 🎊 to Miss Lainey Fife, a sixth grade student from Indiana, she pointed up to Beginner walk, jog, lope this year and has been working so hard all summer in her lessons.

RHT offers a robust Working Student program for current riding school students ages 12 and up. The program offers hands-on practical experience in horsemanship as well as an opportunity to work closely with our staff. The program is designed to provide responsibilities in a “real world” working barn environment. These responsibilities include daily barn duties such as tacking, grooming, turnout, and maintaining an efficient schedule to support instructors during afternoon lessons. Benefits of becoming a working student include a free group Working Student riding lesson, access to on-sight clinics, and more!

Learning How to Fall off Safely : Ground Skills and Rider Fitness
A small stab in the heart is what you feel when you put up the day's riding list and you see riders sinking heavily in their shoulders when reading which horse they are assigned for the lesson. A small stab in the heart for that horse that for an hour will carry around a rider who has already decided that he does not like his horse. A small stab in the heart for the horse that did not choose the rider himself but still does his best, lesson after lesson.
Riding is a privilege and something you have chosen to do. If you chose to ride at a riding school, your instructor assumes that you actually want to learn how to ride. The instructor's highest wish is that you get good at it.
Often there is a plan and a thought as to why you are assigned to that exact horse. Before you mount up next time, ask yourself "what can this horse teach me today?" All horses have something to give, a feeling or a new tool in the box.
The art is actually in being able to get a lazy horse to move forward, to get an uncertain horse to gain confidence, a naughty horse to focus or a tense horse to be released. It takes work. If you think a horse is boring, it's more likely that you don't ride the horse as well as you think! It's not easy to be confronted with your own shortcomings, but it is in that very situation that you get the chance to truly grow as a rider.
The excuse that "it's not my kind of horse" is actually a really bad excuse. A good rider can ride any kind of horse. A good rider has trained many hours on different types of horses to become a good rider. A good rider can find and manage the gold nuggets in every horse.
If we absolutely want to ride, it is our duty to strive to do it as best as possible, even if it's only for fun. We owe it to every horse that carries us upon it's back.

Camp/ Lessons Ages 6 + Riders comfortable at the walk and trot can handle her well. She's mostly been used as my learning to lope pony, as she is very easy and a forward ride. Rosie also loves to jump logs on the trail and looks super cute in English tack.
She is an easy keeper, barefoot, and pasture kept. She gets along with geldings and mares. Also rides in a snaffle for lessons.
Quirks -
She is not a fan of ramp trailers and will jump into the trailer. Step-up trailers are great for her.
Rosie is ready to have her own kid again, she's ready for adventures, and to make new memories.

We had a great first day of our last camp of summer, Western Horsemanship Camp! Hallway Feeds surprised our campers with a Sundae Surprise complete with Hallway’s very own granola. Yummy 😋 After Riding the horses, we learned about Western Saddles, Tye- Dyed T-Shirts, worked through a tricky obstacle course and even learned about different riding disciplines.
