Bruno, the brave pup, visited VVE last Sunday due to vomiting, lethargy, and a loss of appetite. We discovered that this cheeky 5-month-old puppy has a habit of ingesting unusual objects! He was admitted to the hospital for further investigation and ongoing care. Abdominal radiographs revealed changes and a suspicious area in Bruno’s small intestines, indicating a possible foreign body and obstruction. The decision was made to proceed with surgery, where we confirmed the presence of a seed causing the obstruction, which we were able to successfully remove. The team at VVE are thrilled to report that Bruno has recovered well and is back to his happy, playful self!

After some testing and hospitalisation for intravenous fluid therapy and supportive medications, he is back to his happy Labrador self!
