From the Beginning

About 6 years ago my life felt very hectic! I had just moved to a new town with my 3 month old son and two very energetic Labs! Imagine being a stay home mom with a 3 month old baby, it’s now winter, and your dogs keep escaping the yard! AH. You don’t want to pay the city fine or to bail them out of doggy jail, so what do you do? Pack up your kiddo and go for a drive. I would hunt down those pups and try to find the where they’d escaped from! Time after time, they kept wanting to go explore and I had enough. I got online and researched Dog Trainers. I found one who would come to my house and that was convenient! I had him come out and I saw in 3o minutes how my dogs COULD behave! What a relief! I knew just what I needed to do. Lucky for me, he saw something in me and showed me I could do this too! I loved training those pups and it was so rewarding to see their transformations! I trained under Derrick Honore owner of Kai’s Obedience. He taught me many things that now I get to pass onto you! I’m grateful for all I have learned and all I will continue to learn through my experience as a Dog Trainer. I have seen dogs overcome many things from fear, anxiety, behavioral issues and so much more! I train using the dogs’ own instincts. It has been the most effective way to create good, long lasting behaviors. Picture that dog you’ve seen so well behaved and you wished yours was like that. Imagine no more jumping, pulling, and lack of listening. No more loud barking for “no reason”. Imagine a dog who is patient and waits for what they want! Can you see it? I can!
