This is a reminder for all non-breeding contracts (Spring/Summer 2022 Goldendoodles and Aussiedoodles): I have several outstanding proofs of spay and neuters that need to be updated. Please get those in ASAP.
With one litter in particular, they absolutely cannot be bred for health reasons. Per the contracts, there is a $15,000 fine for not providing proof of spay/neuter by 1 year of age or for breeding the pet. It is imperative that this is completed. It is not my intent to litigate with anyone, but it is my intent to protect the animals.

**Update...Mr Green has found a home woth a big brother GR!!**

From Aurora's Northern Golden in Skandia, MI....
Mr Green is still available and super sweet.
The litter was born 10/25. Just started going home the week of Christmas and new year.
Mom is smaller, dad is medium, both with a lean sleek build. Both parents health and DNA tested, OFAs for joints, eyes, & heart. DNA matched for best possible health. Pups are dewormed, initial vaccines, AKC Reunite microchipped (lifetime prepaid). Potty and crate training started (families of other pups have said they’re doing great with this). Bonus - DNA for both parents has the gene for ‘likely to be light shedding’ and I hadn’t thought about til I matched their genes but I don’t vacuum ‘golden glitter’ near as much as for any dogs I’ve ever had.

Hazel is the sweetest 1 year old GSD. She belongs to my brother, Garrett Robert Schout. Hazel recently had a litter of beautiful and sweet puppies.
Hazel is looking for a new home...not because of anything wrong with her...but because an older dog that has lived in the home longer, does not like Hazel and goes after her. They have to keep them separated and it's getting to be quite a feat. Garrett and his family feel it would better serve Hazel (and the other dog) to be rehomed in a home where she can be free to just be herself and not worry about getting attacked by another dog.
Garret will deliver her to the right home.

This is an oops litter that is a basic run-of-the-mill Shepherd mix mutt. The owner is asking very little for these pups (enough to cover the spay of mom and the care of pups). Mom is 3/4 German Shepherd and 1/4 Australian and dad is the neighbor's lab mix. They are currently in MO but will be transported to Skandia at no extra charge. Pups are 4 weeks old so ready end of March. The owner also looking to rehome mom for free to a non-farm and non-small pet home. Contact info in the comments.

I know of some more puppies! These are CKC Cocker Spaniel Pups in Skandia. They belong to Tina Carroll. She owns K9 Klassics Grooming in Gwinn. They are 4 weeks old and will be ready the end of March. Info in comments

These are the rules:
**No newly purchased puppies!!**

You will need a Marquette County driver's license and proof of low income.
If your pet does not have current proof of veterinary vaccinations, they will need to do vaccinations with the surgery. Here are the costs: (first is just the surgery, second is the surgery with vaccinations):

Dog spay: $45/$88

Dog neuter: $42/$85

Cat spay: $42/$82

Cat neuter: $39/$82

Rabbit spay: $42/ neuter: $39

Lucki's Christmas pups are 7 weeks today! They are doing great and are the cutest little things ever! They're deep in the toddler stage and are running crazy 🤪 (also driving me a little crazy). They are full of snuggles and love giving hugs and puppy kisses. They see the vet on Monday and should be cleared to go next weekend! Ideally I would like to keep them an extra week until Christmas eve to get their second shots out of the way. All but TomTom are still available to take home for Christmas!

These guys are located in Negaunee, MI and information about then can be found on the FB page Superior Companions Mini and Stanrd Goldendoodles. Their father is my stud parti poodle, Russell, who was neutered last week and this was his last litter.

Willows puppies were born Oct 27 and will be available for new loving homes on December 21. They will have first shots and wormed.

Good morning!! The time has come for me to announce that Orchard Lane Doodles is no longer going to be producing pups at this time.
Our decision is due to a multitude of reasons: our own lives have changed with taking a fulltime job in my own field (nursing) and mostly, the ethical implications of breeding and contributing to the overpopulation of dogs. I have watched the shelters after covid be packed with not just the big dogs but now puppies too!
Additionally, the things I learned after the fiasco with Stacy Berry of Hadherway Doodles in McMillan, MI and how my eyes were opened as a result to the underground puppy milling-by-proxy schemes that are occurring has invigorated within me a fire to go after these folks that are preying on the least of these.
All of the Orchard Lane Doodles' dogs are either fixed or in the process of being fixed and signed off to their guardians as permanent and forever family dogs.
We so appreciate all of our families and our private owners-only page remains intact and available for them to share pictures and updates and ask questions. If you are an owner and aren't a part of that, please reach out for an invite.
Our contracts are still valid and the most important part of it: if at any time you cannot keep your dog you obtained from us, contact me first. I will work to help you find a home. If you are looking for a dog, don't hesitate to reach out. Sometimes we have families that cannot keep a dog and we are able to connect those families together and have a positive outcome for the best interest of the dog.
It is ethical for me to keep track of our pups and be responsible for them for the duration of their life.
