A big thank you to the Kindergarten classes at Rama Road Elementary for inviting me to celebrate with you! 🐝 We had such a great time sharing all about the fascinating world of , from their life cycle to the magic of pollination. Your curiosity and thoughtful questions made the day extra special!

🌼 Fun Fact: Did you know it takes about 12 honeybees their entire lives to make just one teaspoon of honey? Every drop is a tiny miracle! 🍯

After noticing honeybees flying around our second hive this week, I took time to open it up and look what we discovered! 😍 To our surprise, it was full of bees hard at work, with frames of pollen and honey already taking shape. What an unexpected Easter weekend blessing! 🐝✝️

After losing both my hives last year, I expected this to be a rebuilding season—a chance to clean up the apiary, regroup, and prepare for a fresh start next year. But the Lord had other plans. To our surprise, a swarm moved into one of the old hives I had just begun tidying up. I checked on them today, and they're thriving. 🐝 Grateful for this unexpected blessing and the sweet reminder that nature finds a way. 🙌🏼

Exciting new additions to our flock! Last week, we lined up at Renfrow Hardware to bring home our first chicks of the year—three new-to-us breeds. We can't wait to watch them grow!

We were excited to find our first Oliver Egger egg today! 😍🥚💚

Our lovely ladies are providing about a dozen eggs a day. 🐔 If you’re interested in pasture raised eggs, meaning the hens aren’t kept solely in a coop/run and are fed more than just chicken feed, let us know.
