I'm not feeling very well. Mom has been sick with something called COVID and I've been a good nurse dog. Today, Mom called the vet and found out she might have made me sick. I thought I better share this information with all my friends out there!

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses. Some coronaviruses cause cold-like illnesses in people. Others cause illness in certain types of animals, such as cattle, camels, and bats. Some coronaviruses infect only animals and do not infect humans.

Guess what I found out tonight? You know those scary boomy noises that happen at night this time of year? When you go outside with your people, the boomies come with bright pretty lights and laughing, happy humans. Turns out it's a tail-wagging good time! My people even gave me treats for being so brave!

When my Mom or Dad tell people I'm a dachshund, folks often ask, "mixed with what?". Silly humans. I am ALL weiner dog. I'm a soft-coated wire-haired dachshund. My doggo mom was a wire-haired dachshund and my dad was a long-haired dachshund. My human Mom told me it's National Dachshund Day, so I hope you'll celebrate with me!
