I love updates from adopters but some updates will break your heart into a thousand pieces. 💔 The world isn't fair and I hate that Zep didn't get to have a long life of lush cuddles with his family. I almost foster failed him until this family came along. I knew he belonged with them and they were living on cloud nine together. A spontaneous blood clot in his heart took him from his family Wednesday. I know his family is devastated. His sisters Layla and Angie are still in long term foster with me and are a daily reminder of how hard this entire group of kittens fought to live and Zep was a miracle. I wish he had so much more time here on earth to soak up all those snuggles but the time he got was filled with love thanks to his amazing family and I am forever grateful for them loving him just as much as I did.
