Ollie, Nigel, Harold & Murphy
Everyone meet Ollie, Nigel, Harold & Murphy who are the newest members of the Lending A Helping Paw Dog Rescue pack. The came from an out of state hoarding situation of almost 15 dogs and the owner passed away. We are still in need of fosters for Harold & Ollie. If you are interested in fostering one of these boys, please email [email protected] and request the foster application. We will not be accepting adoption applications at this time. But if you foster for our rescue, you will always have the option to adopt.
All 4 boys are under 35 lbs and are just lovers at the end of the day. They will be perfect for kids 10 & up and are great with other dogs. All 4 boys will require a fenced in yard and would probably thrive best in a foster home with other dogs.
Thank you once again for all the love & support,
The Lending A Helping Paw Dog Rescue Family ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Nala's Transformation
🐾💜Please Read Nala's Story & #Share💜🐾
In just a few short months, my baby girl Nala has come so far. Who would've thought that 3 months ago she was going to be euthanized due to being deemed aggressive by those who were supposed to help and save her. People can believe whatever they hear or think whatever they want about the whole situation, but at the end of the day this so called rescue NEVER GAVE THIS POOR GIRL A CHANCE! They used her for her pups and didn't want to put in the work! Just look at her now....
Never underestimate what a dog is capable of- especially a dog who is so eager to please. Every relationship takes hard work and dedication, whether it's with a human or an animal. The strongest relationships are based on the foundation of trust. All dogs have differing temperaments and stories, so it's always a case-by-case situation. When it came to Nala, all she wanted and craved was human companionship. Nala falls into the category of a 'Working Breed,' which needs to be given a consistent routine and consistent structure. So once Nala and I implemented and established a form of mutual respect, we created a partnership… A team. If I failed, she failed. And if she failed, then I failed. So together we went to work. Now 3 months later, this beautiful girl who was deemed aggressive has a new buddy named Mr. Chunks. Well 2 months ago, their friendship was based on long walks and not playing together off leash yet, but I have to say this is one hell of a start. And I 100% knew in my heart that one day we will get there. Well now 3 months later, Nala did it. She has a real friend! Just remember, 3 months ago Nala was deemed aggressive.
I'm so proud of Nala for coming so far in such a short time. And I hope that each and everyone of you are too. Want to 'Help Us, Help Nala? We still have $640 left to go to reach her #HeartwormTreatment fundraiser goal. Can you please Help Us, #HelpNala for her #HeartwormTreatment #Fundraiser? Can't donate & want to help? Ple

Tucker is up for adoption!
Spunky, playful, and eager to learn... Meet #Tucker. He's a 5 month old lab mix, who is ready for his forever home. Good with cats, kids, and other dogs (other dogs must be submissive, as he is dominant). He’s the perfect addition to any family. Tucker knows basic commands, and is doing well with leash training. His favorite activities include playing fetch, tearing up his rope toy, and snuggling with his favorite stuffed rabbit. (The stuffy will come with him😂) This boy has so much love to give. 100% potty trained and 100% crate trained. Who is ready to meet their new best friend?
