Also Today in Cool History:
June 27, 1925 - The Marine Corps adopted the English Bulldog as its mascot. It was after the WWI Battle of Belleau Wood that the Marines assumed the moniker "devil dogs," purportedly from the battered Germans who dubbed their salty, indefatigable conquerors "teufelhunden" (hell hounds). After the war, the nickname began appearing on recruiting posters, and in Marine Corps motto tattoos, alongside an image of a helmet-clad snarling English bulldog.

Hey this is a reach out for help on behalf of a friend:

A stray but super friendly cat 🐈‍⬛ my friend had been giving water, love and food ran in her home this morning and is refusing to leave. She looks like she has been TNR before but my friend knows she once was someone’s cat that they unfortunately decided to abandoned when they moved. She wants to find out who or where she can ACTUALLY take the cat to get checked up by a vet for a reasonable(low income) cost ASAP.

SEVEN DAYS, that's how many days are left until our sweet Charlie will have been with us for a year with NO ADOPTION INTEREST.
Charlie is a great pup, great with other dogs, loves to play, has been excellent in the house and all reports from his foster home are that he's an expert level cuddler. Charlie's ideal home would have at least one other dog around his size to run and play with. Charlie is fostered with cats and is curious about them and will chase, but is easily called off and has shown no intent to harm. Charlie is just 3 years of age and so much of his life has already been spent in the shelter. PLEASE SHARE and let's help Charlie find his forever family before he must return from foster as well as hit that one year mark. Happy Good Friday!!!

Just wanted to take a scan of the area. I am looking to transition my love of the animal babies by offering my services to the and possibly surrounding areas.

As an obvious lover of animals and a Supervisor of a doggy daycare/boarding facility I want to make most of my life about animals. That being said… does the RVA area have interest or need of another pet sitter/walker and care giver during the daytime (IE- 9am-5pm)?

There are five blue tricolor American bully puppies looking for their forever homes.

They are all female, they are not fixed, they do not have the rabies shots but they do have the following: Distemper. Aden/hep. Parainfluenza. Parvo. Coronavirus.

The female puppies are 10 weeks and five days old. They get along well with other dogs kids and adults. They have not been exposed to cats so that is unknown.

They are crate and paper trained they know sit, lay and no. There are no known medical issues at this time.
