Petaluma Pet Pals is a small but growing non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is entirely powered by donations and volunteers, including the leadership team. We are determined to help homeless dogs and cats by providing our discount coupon, loaning traps for TNR efforts, and rescuing animals from the streets and high-kill shelters.

Just hangin ‘round the Morti’s ‘hood. This is Jorja on the left (she has the white spot on her chest) and her big brother Ringo on the right. Currently in a private room with their siblings, Patch and Screaming Mimi, an approved adoption application is required to meet them.

Adoption Update: Remember our favorite guy, Tango? He was adopted into a home where he would have an older feline sister, Torti. We’re big believers in carefully monitored introductions; here’s how Tango’s parents introduced him… and by the pictures, we believe it has been a huge success! 💞

When we first brought Tango home, we kept the kitties in separate rooms. We swapped items with each others’ scents so they could smell eachother. The very first night they both knew someone else was probably behind the door and the first meeting was so much better than we could have imagined. Torti is a bit bossy but accepted him so well!!

PROJECT 2025: Find Lucy’s Home! PLEASE SHARE THIS POST!
Helloooooo??? Hello, world, are you still out there? I’m still here. 😔 My name is Lucy and I’ve been here in the Lounge for over a year. Unfortunately, in my younger days, I earned the reputation of being snarky and I’ll admit, I was a bit snarky 🫤. And I have good news! As I have aged, like fine wine, I have mellowed. I now approach volunteers that I know and ask for pets. I now jump up to sit next to them. Like this new year, I’m coming in fresh with a new attitude. More on the independent side, I don’t need constant attention or someone fawning over me. What I do want and need is a chance with a cat savvy person who is looking for a peaceful companion!

It’s a wrap! As we say goodbye to 2024 and hello to 2025, we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has supported us this year, you mean so much to us!

Spay and neuter is the only way to stop the overpopulation of cats and every single one we adopt out has been altered and will not add to the overpopulation problem.

🐱 🐱 Have you fostered for us? OMG, we are so thankful to you. You open your home and provide love, care and socialization. What you do is integral to the success of our program. Thank you!

Adopted! Adopted on a day when there were rainbows in the sky, Dill and Della began their magical dream of happily ever after. This truly lovely, gentle bonded pair captured the eye and heart of an equally lovely human and today they are a family who will be making wonderful memories together. We wish them the very best as they begin a new year and a new life together!

Just arrived! Say hello to Screaming Mimi! As friendly and as wonderful as her name implies, Screaming Mimi came in from her loving foster home last week. She, along with her three siblings, are settling in. Currently in a private room for their comfort while acclimating to our busy Lounge, they are all available for adoption.

Adopted! A big moment in time caught through the window looking into the Lounge. Peabody was so excited to be going home, he sat and watched as his adoption contract was signed. Our handsome Peabody, who brought a sophisticated, mature elegance to the Lounge, will be the one and only fur baby in his home and we hope to get updates that he has settled in quickly. Goodbye, Peebs, we so enjoyed caring for you and wish you a happy and bright furever more!

We were all feeling the love yesterday when these two young ladies made a very generous donation to the Lounge. These “entrepreneurs in the making” saw an opportunity to make some cold hard cash and set up a stand in their driveway, located in a neighborhood known for its beautiful holiday decorations and lights, giving away candy canes for donation. Visitors enjoying the beauty of the season were extremely generous! The young entrepreneurs know about Morti’s and have a wonderful fur baby named Bunny who they adopted from the Lounge. We are so impressed and want to thank them for their generosity and the fabulous example they set. We appreciate them and just know they will achieve wonderful things in their lives as they make the world a better place! 💝

Dougy is the most outgoing and asks for lots of attention. Dill and Della (a bonded pair) are more reserved but are learning to be more confident be comfortable with us humans.
