Here are some pictures from our adoption event today. In attendance were our kitties Hera, Artemus, Onyx, Pearl, Sammy, Freddie, and Courtney. Our pup Ruth also made an appearance. Some folks who have applications in-house came to the event to visit with the kitties, and it looks like Hera, Sammy, and Freddy may be in their forever homes soon! Thanks to all who attended!

And, then there were TWO! 🐱🐱

Beautiful Hera (left) had a litter of six kittens 4 months ago. She's done a pawsome 🐾 job finding homes for her other fur-babies and is now hoping to find Artemis (right) his happily fur-ever after. He's a sweet, active boy with a loud purr who would love to find a home with a young cat to play with or be adopted with his mama.

Meet mom and son on Saturday, August 24, from 1 to 3pm at the Pet Supplies Plus in Sterling. To get ahead of the crowd, complete an adoption application to start the process before the event.

🎸🎵 BOGO Kittens of Rock and Roll! 🎸🎵

Named for some prolific voices in rock, these guys are a little bit more on the quiet, laid-back side. They have yet to trash a hotel room or smash their guitar and amp on stage. They are your typical kittens - happy, playful and oh-so-lovable! They would be best adopted in pairs or into a home with another young, confident kitty to show them the ropes. These 4 1/2-month-old kitties are good with kids, cats, and dogs.

Freya, a truly special pup with a heart full of love, needs our help NOW! 🐾❤️ She has just completed an intensive board and train program where she shone brilliantly, but we’re facing a crucial moment. Her trainer has emphasized that Freya needs to move into a foster or forever home ASAP to ensure she doesn’t “unlearn” the incredible skills she’s mastered.

Here’s the scoop on Freya:

Training Success: Freya has excelled in her training. She’s a great dog who’s made wonderful progress.

Needs Structure: Freya will thrive with continued structure and clear boundaries.

Home Requirements:
- No cats or young kids.
- Would do well with older, calm, and larger dogs.
- Not suitable for first-time dog owners.
