On the 28th August our dear friend Toby left us. He achieved his 20th birthday and was happy, albeit unable to see the world, to his last days. Never was he more comfortable than snuggled on a knee, preferably his dad's. He loved life, his family, Ned and all his friends and will be remembered forever.

So nobody lit the fire this morning. After I reminded them - and I had to make it very clear that this situation was not good enough - I was given a heat pack. It is warm - but there are no nice flames for me to gaze into, so I shall make it quite evident that I'm not as comfortable as I should be.
