🐾Happy Tale for Oreo!! This furkid officially has a place to call home! 🥳 His new family adores him...says he's the most wonderful dog ever! 😍 He's been so gentle to the other furbabies they have, along with all the human kiddos that come and go each day! ❤ He's definitely loving all the attention and playtime he's getting from everyone around there! 😃 As you can tell by that smile, he's a happy boy!!

UPDATE - We may have a foster for Anubis! 🙏 Thank you all so much for helping us, we definitely couldn’t have found a family without you animal lovers spreading the word! 💕

Can your family help? Unfortunately, Anubis is needing to come back to the rescue. 😕 Due to no fault of his own, just circumstances in his family have changed and they're not in a position to keep him any longer, it's heartbreaking as they've grown very fond of this big lug! ❤ 🐾 We will need to find a place for him asap as they're needing the rescue to take him in by this weekend, but we are full. We're hoping to find help reaching out to you animal lovers!🤞🙏

A little about Anubis. 🙂 He's a friendly guy, great with kids. He doesn't jump which is nice since he's so big! 😉 He's playful in spurts, loves to do twirly zoomies from time to time when he's in the mood! lol Despite his size, he walks decent on leash...gets wore out fairly quickly, but over time adjusts to distance walks, he really enjoys his strolls. 🙂 Anubis seems to be okay with other pets IN the home but can be protective at times when sees animals outside the home; he's never had an issue with people in or out of the home as Anubis LOVES people, just picky about his canine companions. 😉 As you can tell by some of the pics, he's also a bit of a couch potato! lol He so enjoys hanging out with his family...has to be close to 'em! ❤ He's such a lover butt!

Anubis is fixed, chipped and current on all his vaccinations. He does have some allergy issues though, poor guy gets itchy, so does require an allergy med; he also has one dry eye that requires eye drops year-round too. Due to the shape of his ears, it's important to give him a weekly ear cleaning to prevent any issues, so he does need some TLC to keep him healthy. He's such a good boy though, handles it all like a champ! 🙂

The rescue will cover all his meds, food and supplies while in foster care. If your family is in a position to foster this big lug...or give him a home, please contact us via FB or [email protected], asap. ❤ Thanks so much!!

🐾Happy tale for Mabel!! 🎉 She hit the jackpot with her new family, they adore her! ❤ Mabel has had quite journey to get to her new family...who drove all the way from St. Paul, Minnesota by the way!! 😮 She came to us abandoned, limping, matted, skinny...poor baby definitely needed some TLC, we of course couldn't say no, we had to help! She had two old fractures in her front right leg that were not healed; had abscessed teeth, not to mention only half a jaw, we're not sure if it's always been that way, or if from an old injury/procedure. Needless to say, she spent several days in vet care, getting bloodwork, shots, etc., until we thankfully found a wonderful foster family willing to care for her until she could be adopted. 🙏🩷 They got Mabel off to such a great start! (We are so thankful for our fosters!!)

During Mabel's time with us, we did get her mouth healthy (two dentals later); and did have to amputate her leg, but she handled it like a champ!!😊She never cried, whined, lost appetite...just acted like nothing ever happened, it was amazing how quickly she rebounded from everything. We were blessed to have some wonderful animal lovers donate to Mabel's vet care, that helped so very much!!😍Mabel had vetting at TriCounty Vet in Lenox; then her final procedures at Adair County Vet Clinic in Greenfield, we can't thank them all enough for the fantastic care they gave her. It's definitely taken a village to help this sweet girl! ❤ Mabel touched so many hearts while she was with us, it was bittersweet to see her go, but we all knew she deserved a family that could love and pamper her the rest of her days. 🥰 Due to everyone's love and generous support we found one!!

Mabel is now spending her days going on daily strolls, making new friends, enjoying playtime with her pack and getting lots of kisses and cuddles!! 🩷 We see many happy days ahead for this little girl and her new family...definitely a happy ending!!

NEW UPDATE (11/13) - well unfortunately we may still need a foster family for Willow; she isn’t hitting it off with one of the foster family’s furkids. 😩 She does fine with their cat and little doggie, but a bit scared of the bigger one. We’re gonna give them one more day to see if may have worked it out. We certainly don’t want Willow or her foster family stressed so though we’d reach out to you animal lovers again for help. 🙏❤️ Willow is extremely lovie, aims to please so much. UPDATE - Phew!! Thankfully we found an animal lover in a position to help foster Willow girl!! 🙂 Needless to say, we are relieved! We are still trying to find this furbaby a place to call home, she has so much love to give! If interested in adopting Willow, drop us a msg, thanks so much!! ❤❤❤

We thought we found the perfect home for Willow, but unfortunately one member of her new family is allergic to her, 😩 so they’re returning her to the rescue. We can put her back into boarding at the vet clinic, but that’s expensive, not to mention little Willow would be back in a cage 24/7; is there a family out there that can foster this furkid for us? Please let us know via FB or [email protected]. Willow is a very sweet girl, good around other dogs, cats and school aged kiddos. She is a bit timid at first but opens up after a few minutes. UPDATE - We’d welcome any other inquiries just in case it doesn’t work out w this other family…it’s important we get a good match for this furkid! 🐶💕He’s great w kids, other dogs, even cats! Ideally we’d like to find a home for him w a fenced in yard he can run and play. Thank you all so much for your help!

UPDATE - Thank you animal lovers!!! 🎉🙏❤️ We currently have a family we’re coordinating a meet and greet with, we’re so hoping everything falls into place for Oreo to have a place to call home!! The response to Oreo’s post has been amazing, thank you all so much for spreading the word so we could help him! 🥰 We will definitely keep you all posted on what happens! 🤞

Need help! - Unfortunately, we're full and a situation has arisen regarding a furkid's life, can your family help? Oreo is a furkid that is in need of a foster family, or forever home asap or he'll be at risk for euthanasia. 😞 There was a sudden life change to his family and sadly he has nowhere to go. We can help him if we can find a family willing to let him stay for a while until he can be adopted. 🙏

Oreo is a 3 yr. old Heeler mix, friendly with kids and other dogs, no biting history. We'll make sure he gets all his vetting. If your family is in a position to help Oreo, please msg us via FB or [email protected]. Thanks so much! ❤

FOUND - Does anyone recognize this friendly fellow? He showed up on this good Samaritan's property a couple weeks ago, no ID, just wearing a collar. He's super sweet, gets along with everyone on this property, even their chickens! He looks young and well cared for...surely someone is missing this furkid! He was found between Murray and Grand River. If this is your pet, or know who he may belong to, please contact us asap so we can get in touch with the good Samaritan. ❤ Please share post to get the word out, it'd be great to reunite this furkid with his family, thanks!

Anyone missing their furkid? This old girl was found walking in the middle of the highway between Cromwell and Creston, today…almost got hit! 😕 This old doggy appears to be blind and deaf, possibly an injury to back legs but not sure (cld be arthritis). She has no chip or collar so not sure who she belongs to. 😥 She is extremely matted, poor baby definitely needs some TLC. FOUND - Anyone recognize this beautiful girl? She was found roaming around the 300 block of W. Montgomery St., Creston, yesterday (Mon.-10/14); fortunately, Orr Hearing & Plumbing has their shop over there, so Heather has her in there until we can hopefully find her family. As you can see by the pics, she is very friendly and looks well cared for….surely someone is missing this furbaby! 🙏 If this is your furkid, or you have info that can help get her back home, please call Heather at, 641-782-8700.
