🐾Happy Tale for Miss Bailey! 😍 Bailey came to our rescue in July of 2024, sadly after her owner passed away. Bailey had spent all her days with her past owner, so she was a bit set in her ways...could get a bit nippy if things weren't done on her terms. 😉 Luckily, Bailey had an amazing family fostering her and it didn't take long for her to come out of her shell, it was so cute to see! ❤ Her foster family adored her, but had a pack of their own, so we set out to find Miss Bailey Ray a place to call home.

Months went by with no inquiries, until one day we were contacted by a wonderful lady looking for a companion...apparently Bailey's cute face caught her eye! ☺️ And are we glad it did, they really are a great match for each other! Her new mama says she's settling in quickly, even sleeps on her own side of the bed! lol Bailey also uses her soft steps to get on the couch to hang out with her new mom, so they're enjoying their time together! 🥰 She's definitely off to a good start in her new home...we see many happy days ahead for these two! 💕

🐾Next happy tale is for Zoey girl! 😻 Her mom Zula was our final adoption last year and now it's Zoey's turn, she is our first adoption for 2025! 🥳 Her new family fell in love with her the minute they met...she didn't waste any time cuddling into her new mama's arms! ❤ She also met her new canine furbrother Shadow, who was very nice to her upon meeting, but seeing his expressions we caught in the pics it looked like he was wondering what his pet parents brought home! lol😆 Hilarious!

Zoey and her furbrother are now inseparable, the family says it's the cutest thing they've ever seen...I'm sure it's never a dull moment when they get to playing together! lol 😍 Zoey's family adores her and says she fits right in. We're so happy for her and her new family! 😺

🐾These happy tales are long overdue so get ready!!😍❤ The first happy tale we'd like to share with you animal lovers is about Zula! She's a beautiful kitty our foster coordinator rescued...good thing too, because she was in the hands of someone collecting strays to shoot and dump in the country. ☹️ It's heartbreaking to hear of such cruelty but it does happen. On the flip side, thankfully there are good people in this world! 🙏I'm so thankful she crossed my Coordinator's path, she definitely saved her life...and come to find out, saved the lives of her 3 kittens that came a couple weeks later! ❤ 😻 We found loving homes for 2 of her furbabies right away, leaving Zena and her furbaby Zoey. Zena by this time was good with her kitties finding other things to do! lol Mama was ready for them to go; she had done her job. 😸

Christmas was growing near and low and behold Zena had an inquiry, we were so excited as we hoped we could find her and her kitty Zoey forever homes by Christmas! ❤💚 Zula's adopter fell in love with her right away, it was wonderful to see her heart melt when she held her...we knew instantly Zula had found her new mama!

Zula is so pampered in her new home! She gets lots of kisses and cuddles, has many napping spots...even gets to watch her pet channel! lol She's definitely living the good life! 😻 Such a wonderful ending to her journey with us, she will be loved and finally has a place to call home!

**UPDATE** - It's now Thursday (3/6) and this sweet kitty is still missing. :( She was last seen in the 500 block on Stone St., Creston; near the fire station/Lincoln Street area. She wasn't wearing her collar unfortunately. Please keep her on your radar, it'd be wonderful to get her back home safe! Thanks so much! ❤

**UPDATE** - Thankfully this handsome guy was reunited with his family! 😍 Thank you all so much for helping get the word out! ❤️

FOUND - Anyone recognize this handsome guy? He was dragging his chain when found, so we're assuming his pet parents aren't aware he's escaped yet. He was found in the 1000 block of West Adams (near McKinley Park) in Creston. He looks like a fairly young golden, friendly guy, surely someone is missing this furkid! 🙏 If this is your pet, or you know who he may belong to, please call David at, 641-247-1460. Please share post to help get the word out, my guess is his pet parents haven't got home from work yet to see he's gotten out. It'd be wonderful to get him back home where he belongs! ❤ Thanks so much for your help!!

🌬❄️Due to this wonderful winter weather, we've *CHANGED LOCATION* for picking up doggie treats!! We still have some left if you'd like to get a bag or two for your Furry Valentine!! ❤

LOCATION: Union County Abstract, Inc., 107 E. Montgomery St., Creston (behind Fareway on Montgomery). You can stop by this Wed-Friday, anytime between 10am-4:30pm (except lunch hr. 12-1pm they are closed). We appreciate your support very much, couldn't help these furbabies without it!! Drive safe out there!! 😍

🐾 Can anyone help with Timber? This beautiful girl was found abandoned outside Afton almost 4 wks ago. 😕 We thought we had a potential adopter, but unfortunately it didn’t work out so she’s still boarding at the Vet Clinic in Lenox. As you can imagine she’s going a bit stir crazy and it’s pricey for us to continue keeping her there. She looks so sad. We are hoping by reaching out to you animal lovers we can find a foster family or forever home for her. 🙏❤️

Timber is a Pitbull Terrier mix, approx 1-2 yrs, fixed, chipped and current on shots. She’s very friendly, might chase cats so we’re trying to find her a place w/o kitties. We don’t think she’d hurt them but might stress them out being chased all the time. She appears good w other dogs so far and loves people, so hoping we can find a place for her soon! 🤞

🥶Brrrr!! It's COLD out there! Please bring your pet in during extreme weather. If you're unable to bring your pet inside, please make sure you insulate their shelters! ❄️ Straw, heat lamps, warming pet beds are all good ways to insulate your pet's shelter. If you need straw, we do have some on hand, so don't hesitate to reach out to us, we're definitely here to help! ❤

❤ Valentines Day is quickly approaching so the First Presbyterian Church Youth group in Creston, made some dog treats for us to sell to raise money for the rescue!!! 😍 We appreciate their generosity so much!!

🐾They made: Peanut Butter Pumkin Dog Treats & Carrot Dog Muffins...your doggies will love them! 😁 We also have containers of cream cheese frosting (made w/ low-fat cream cheese, canola oil, vanilla and honey) available so you can put on the treats when you get home!

❤ The treats are: $5 a bag & 50 cents for the frosting. We tried frosting them, but it kept coming off! lol So thought we'd offer the option to purchase it. :)

🐾If you'd like to get a tasty treat for your furry family member, please let us know and we'll get you on our order list! We'll be at Tractor Supply (in Creston) Feb. 10-14, between 12-1pm for you to pick them up! :) Thanks so much!

**GREAT NEWS!!** - Macy girl has been found!! 🥳 Thank you all so much for sharing her post, it meant a lot to the family. 🥰 It's so nice to report a happy ending!!

MISSING - Please keep your eyes peeled for Macy girl! 🙏 Her pet parents just moved to Luther trailer court on Sherman Ave. (Creston) and their beloved housecat of 5 yrs somehow got out and ran across the street to an open field last night (2/4); as you can imagine her pet parents are devastated. Macy is declawed as well so not only is the weather a factor, but she’s unable to protect herself. 🙁 Please call Lori at, 641-202-3166, if you spot a cat in that area matching Macy’s description. UPDATE (2/1) - Were so thankful to you animal lovers, we found a foster for Remi!! ❤️😁 we appreciate how many people responded to our post, we can’t thank you enough!!

UPDATE (1/29) - Still in need of a foster or forever home for Remi girl! The rescue is full, so we're in desperate need a foster family for her or we'll have no other choice but to board her...which is terribly expensive, and she'd be in a cage 24/7 which we don't want to do to her. 😞 We realize Remi has some quirks, but with a little guidance and patience we know she'll make a great companion! 🙂 Please contact us if in a position to help, thanks!

UPDATE - Still need help with Remi girl! 🙏 She's got so much love to give if given the chance! ❤ Come to find out, Remi does have food aggression with other dogs, (not people) so she'd need to be fed separately from other furkids, or fostered/adopted by a family that has no other canine companions. Remi actually does great with other dogs; she's made friends at doggy daycare, has a fursister she currently buddy's around with, so as long as the food is kept out of the picture (and high yield treats) she loves to be around other dogs. The rescue will cover all expenses and provide all supplies for her care, we just need a place she can get loved up on while we find her another home. ☺️ Please contact asap if your family is in a position to help, thanks!

🐾🐕Can anyone help? We're trying to find a foster (or forever) family for Remi girl; she's coming back to the rescue due to some behavior issues towards the smaller kiddos...she doesn't tolerate their joy as well as she used to. She's a real sweetheart though, loves her family and does well around other dogs, cats, and school age children would be okay...she has so much love and snuggles to give! ❤

🐾 We finally get to tell Willow’s happy tale!! 😃 Her journey started when she was found in the country on someone’s property…she wouldn’t leave their porch. 😕 They couldn’t bring her in due to their own dogs, but did give her food, water and lovies. 🩷 They reached out to us but unfortunately we were full….well 5 days later w no one claiming her, and Willow still clinging to their porch, we made arrangements to board her until we had room to bring her into the rescue or adopt her. She also had an injury to her lip that looked infected so was definitely in need of care. The Vet cleaned her up and put 3 staples in her lip. We waited a few more days for her health to get better then we got her spayed, chipped and vaccinations. ❤️

Willow is an amazing dog, but with everything she’d been through she has a few quirks. She’s a bit anxious, and nervous around large dogs, so took a while to find her the right family. 🙏 We did approve an app., lady came to meet her and decided she was gonna wait on adopting, it was disappointing but we felt maybe she was meant to be with another family, so she continued boarding…not ideal because expensive and she’s in a cage 24/7 but we had no other choice. We tried 2 foster families, but neither worked out due to her anxiety around large dogs, so back to the vet she went. 😕 Not too long after that, we excitedly approved another family for her, she did amazing there but within 2 wks they brought her back since Dad apparently learned he was allergic. 😩 So poor Willow again went back into boarding. It weighed heavy on our hearts to take her back to the vet, especially over the holidays, but kept telling ourselves, the right family will come along soon.

Well I’m extremely happy to announce that Willow girl has finally found her family!! 🥳🎉 They clicked w each other immediately, it was heartwarming to see…her new mama got lots of kisses and snuggles from her Willow girl!! 🥰 ❤️ Willow’s new family adores her! She’s definitely enjoying all the love and attention she’s getting! ☺️ Just wonderful to know she finally has a place to call home! I see many happy days ahead for Willow and her new family!! 😍

Cali would love to find a family! 😻 She’s such a pretty girl, and so friendly; she’ll make a nice companion! 💕 Cali is an FIV positive kitty that’s been with our rescue for several months, it’d be wonderful to find her a place to call home! 🙏❤️ Cali is Non symptomatic so in great health…other than being a little chunky! lol She’s fixed and current on all her vaccinations. Cali is a friendly girl who is a lot of fun to play with, her favorite toy is the fishing pole, she will fly through the air like Superman to catch that thing, it’s hilarious! lol 😸 She’ll plop herself down on her back for belly brushies and lovies!
