Watson is a happy male border collie dog born with the birth defect "short spine syndrome" -- but he is living life to the fullest! He lives in Maryland.
Watson was surrendered to the Washington Animal League at 8 years old. He was a favorite at WARL and they nick-named him Mini-Cooper. He stayed at WARL for a couple of months when his mom, who volunteers for WARL, just had to bring him to his forever home. He suffered a setback in December of 2012 but rallied back to health. He is now 12 years old and loves tug of war, running in the backyard, and treats.
