🧡Happy Thanksgiving🧡 Throw-back to Apple the turkey who needed some attention after getting bullied by Blueberry the pig. I am happy to report that they are now best friends. In fact, when Blueberry got bullied out of her herd, Apple took her in and they now live together and cuddle every night 🐷💛🦃

Throw-back Thursday! Last year we had a trick-or-treating event with the kids. We needed a solution for including the pigs while also respecting their comfort level. Not every animal wants to be pet or dressed up. We decided to paint the pigs in their preferred costume, and set up candy stations outside their pens. This way the pigs who were interested in interracting could chose to walk up to the fence to say hi 🐷🎃

Although we accept animals of all ages, Declan Farm is an animal sanctuary and rescue which focuses primarily on the rehab and care of disabled and disadvantaged farm animals. We offer services to the community including emergency intake, education, community outreach, animal handling, transport, help with placement/adoption support, lost/found support, and grief support.
