FWC Class III licensed Axolotl Breeder

By doing business with me you have contributed to my future career as a Veterinary Medicine Student. My goal was do something I enjoyed, in this case caring for axolotls, and at the same time something that would help pay for my application fees. I really appreciate you for choosing me out of all the breeders out there. As always if you have any concerns or

questions feel free to reach out. Jesus Hernandez

Little life update, this past weekend we finally made it to our new place in Indiana where I will be starting veterinary medicine school next month at Purdue University. It was a 28 hour trip driving all the way from Florida but we had the smart idea to use a mini fridge to transport all 25 Axolotls plus a ton of ice packs. I’m happy to say that we all made it safely and it worked wonderful! I have also decided that I will be breeding some more this fall so keep an eye out for some babies

Hello everyone, sorry we haven’t posted in a while a lot has been happening and I just wanted to give you some of my life’s updates.

On February 16th at 2:30 am (Italian time zone) I received the phone call that would finally make my dreams come true.
Dr. Willie Reed, Dean of Purdue’s College of Veterinary Medicine, called me to officially offer me a seat in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) class of 2026. I am happy to say that I have officially accepted my offer and committed to Purdue CVM.

Out of about 1600 applicants only 84 are selected and I am extremely happy to be one of them. This is such a huge accomplishment for me, and it truly comes to show, that you can defy the odds when you put your heart and mind to it. I was told multiple times throughout my journey that I wasn’t a strong applicant and receiving offers from various programs proves that wrong.

Never give up and pursue your dreams because they are attainable! I want to thank the Axolotl Community. I truly could not have done it without all of you, and I will be forever grateful for everything that you all have done for me, for your continuous encouragement and amazing support. Cheers to becoming the next doctor of Veterinary Medicine 👨🏻‍⚕️🩺🐾 co 2026!

With all of this being said there is a lot of uncertainty as to what will happen with Ostol Axolotls, I still have all my holdbacks and I will be releasing a few subadults in the next few weeks. My intention was to continue my passion for Axolotls throughout my veterinary medicine career, however moving to a new state (FL to IN) adapting to new law regulations and most importantly ensuring that I have enough time to provide the proper care for my animals is what is most important at this time. I am open for any advice, since I’ll be you doing such a tenuous training I won’t be able to work which is why financially it would be a good idea for me to continue to pursue my passion for Axolotls, but at the same time I want to make sure that I continue to do it right and ensure that they are happy and healthy.

This beautiful little guy right here traveled all the way from Florida to his new home in Alaska! Look at those beautiful yellow gills. We made sure to add almost 4 inches of insulation and he made it in perfect condition. His water in his little baggie was just at the right temperature ☺️
We still have more of his siblings available in the website, get yours before they’re gone !
