Please keep your dogs home tomorrow-Thursday if possible. It's going to be HOT HOT HOT, sunny and dry. We do our absolute best keeping everyone cool and comfortable with fresh cold water, pools and ac but the stimulation of daycare play is enough for overheating. 🥵 🔥 🥵
Tuesday in the 90s Wednesday and Thursday in the high 90s with a feeling of 105??? Umm what!! I'm thankful for these beautiful summer days but lord, let's keep the dogs out of the heat please!

Summer! Our favorite season.
The pools are out for the dogs to enjoy every day. Water buckets are full and cool, and the lower water troths are great for the littles to dip their toes in.

With all this wetness comes the risk for rashes and hot spots. Long hair, double coats and plump wrinkles hold so much moisture and gunk from fun filled daycare day. Over stimulated drooling can get under the collar and, yikesssss
Remove your dogs collar at night, make sure everyone is dry dry before bed and watch for that ye**ty ear smell.

We do our best to pick up the water a couple hours before bed time giving everyone ample time to dry.. hot spots and other rashes are common in the summer months. Just keep and eye out, I will also 😊

We have alot of trees down that need to be dealt with, such a mess around my property.
Limbs have come across the fence making it unsafe for the dogs until cleared and repaired, back open WEDNESDAY!

Unfortunately, I am not feeling much better. I am going to keep the daycare closed until Thursday. We will be back open Thursday 6 AM.
