Very proud of this little guy, Scooby! From just 8 weeks old to now being 14 weeks, he has been in training with me for over 4 weeks. He has learned leash walking, sit, lay down, circle stays, off leash recalls, and much more! The family has worked very hard with him everyday and it shows!

Meet Dakota, the face of my business! Dakota is a 5 year old Australian shepherd that competes in agility, is a certified therapy dog, has all of her CGCs, and has titles in trick dog! She is an off leash dog that comes to the barn with me all the time. She has been around horses, bunnies, chickens, ducks, goats, cats, and of course other dogs! She loves to play fetch and has a high drive to work and please!

Welcome to Wiggle and Woof Dog Academy! My name is Karina and I have been a dog trainer for 7 years! I have experience teaching a variety of breeds for a range of purposes, including therapy dogs, dogs that are blind and deaf, basic and advanced obedience, aggression, and reactivity. I am always interested in learning more about dogs, and it makes me happy to see both dogs and their owners succeed over time. I learn something new from each dog that I train and continue to expand my knowledge. I am so excited to start this next journey and hope you will be a part of it!

One of my favorite exercises to work on with two dogs is name association. Most of the time when you are working with two dogs, they only listen to the command without listening to their names. In this video, I worked on calling each dog individually first by saying their names and then the command. If the dog that wasn't called gets up, I simply put them back and restart the exercise until they understand what I am asking.
