Our posts (and my personal outlook) are nearly always positive🌈🦄, but the truth is, sometimes things (and people) really, REALLY suck.😡
👎We lose family or friends.
👎Success turns to failure.
👎Beloved patients are diagnosed with terminal illnesses.
👎Clients act like total🫏🕳️.
And when this happens, grief and frustration are valid, appropriate, and necessary emotions.
BUT…
Seeing the good is also essential—even if we have to look hard to find it.
🩷MOST of our clients aren’t jerks. (Hang on to those moments when pet parents are compassionate and understanding, and realize you’re human, too.)
🌼New puppy or kitten appointments and eager, invested pet parents.
🩷The daily memories we make with our loved ones.
🌼The little gestures of gratitude, like the voicemail from a client showing that I’d made an unexpected but lasting impact.
When things get tough, it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re doing anything wrong or this isn’t your field. Keep going. Find the light. And if you can’t find it, be the light for someone else. 🔦

Stop the spin and learn to embrace tech by taking small steps:
💡Sign up for a free trial and demo one tool or app.
💡Use the tutorials and demos (and your younger associates!) to learn the features so you feel comfortable incorporating them into your day.
💡Use productivity metrics such as appointments per hour or average invoices per visit to measure overall benefit.
If the new tech helped, super! If not, you still gained confidence by applying tech to your daily tasks. Keep trying!
