Dually got his halter off today! We have been working on him being comfortable with me being up by his ears! He has been letting me catch him no problem the past few days, even walking up to me! So i decided it was time to get that itchy halter off and try putting on a rope halter!
He did great, I got the halter on and lead him out and tied him while I cleaned his stall! He's pretty good about tying now, he gets a little wiggly especially when I walk away but other then that he's perfect!
The past few days we have been going out to the round pen and working, he hates pressure on his right side, when it's applied he freezes and then blows up and trys to drag me, but yesterday we finally got to a good point I was able to get him to side pass from that side nice and quiet!
When I went to catch him again I stuck on my hand and he walked right up to me and let me catch him! I'm loving this guy's brain and the trust we are building!
