Toady dawn and I worked on the tarp, she walked over it and played with it while it was on the ground, then I picked it up and started moving it! She really wasn't fazed by it! She is definitely a brave girl, I put it on her and lounged her around in it until it fell off an she did so good! We also had our 10th ride (I think) today and I took a cool pov video at a walk but when I tried to video the trot my phone decided to fall out. That video will be posted in the comments if you would like to watch!

Dawn and I want to say Thank You to all the men and women who lost their lives fighting for this country and for our freedom! We can not lose sight of what today is about its not "Happy memorial day" or "Have a nice long weekend" as I hear a lot of people say, today is to remember the people who died for us, those who protected and served this country we call home! Take a moment of silence or say a quiet prayer to those who died for us, and God bless those who are fighting currently and our Veterans! Thank you all!

Day #4- Today we cleaned Dawn's stall for the first time she didn't care at all and I was able to groom her on both sides and brush out her mane on the left side, she has giant knots that need to be cut out on her right. We also worked on picking up her front feet and worked on giving in to pressure. I also was able to get her drag lead off today so she can stop stepping on it. Next step is her halter but she's very head shy and does not like me trying to touch her face.

Day- #2. Today we worked a lot on approach and retreat, this is just a short clip halfway through our session. I would approach her and just stand in her bubble and when she gave me a soft eye or a lick and chew I would step away. At this point in the video I was slightly touching her with my elbow and if she didn't try to move away I would take a step back. In the end she was very interested in me and was sniffing at my pockets! She did get a bit upset about me being in her bubble and did try to nip me a few times but I immediately pushed her away and she would come back and let me stand with her again. I say she made good progress today!

Looks like she was comfortable enough to lay down last night! She was laying down for about 30 minutes!

Thanks to Emily Faith Horsemanship I got some wonderful pictures of this girl, I can't wait to meet her! I have a few names picked out but im not sure if I like them yet.
