When Marie became Mister Hanky's mommy, she found that there were not very many unique fashion dog shirts on the market. Everything that was stocked in stores was pretty boring stuff. While there is a gazillion designs for humans out there the market for puppies is pretty slim. Yes there is doggy couture, but that is not what Marie was looking for. Marie wanted a simple, but yet cool dog shirt for
Mister Hanky. Unfortunately there were almost no designs that she liked. Another problem Marie had was that the shirts often lack the comfy requirements she has for her puppies. Scratchy shirt labels, necks that are too tight or simply boring fabric patterns brought Marie to the idea to design her own Puppy Shirts. In Marie's Journey she has been supported by Antonia. Antonia is a Veterinarian and the good soul who brings Marie's Dog Shirts to life. When asked to become THE main tailor for Mister Hanky's Closet she simply and immediately said: YES!" Antonia is the mommy to two beautiful boys. Jordan, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Vincent, a German Rottweiler. Currently Antonia is living on a farm in Kentucky and is fostering another puppy named Brooke. With Antonia being a veterinarian OUR shirts are probably the world's first Veterinarian approved Fashion Dog Shirts. Together Marie and Antonia are striving to design and produce the finest Dog Shirts there are on the market.
