We believe there is another way to live our lives! Lightly and full of LOVE. We believe that we are able to co-exist with nature in a manner which benefits both the environment and people, and provides economic sta
bility in the form of food and quality of life for all. From a dust bowl and typical urban lawn back in 2010, we have transformed our Urban space into an abundant food producing, life-giving, thriving ecosystem. Recent ripple effects of our work are a thriving and growing Permaculture support NURSERY; WORKSHOP Zone; and a growing DESIGN CONSULTANCY. This page is a record of our journey (way back to 2011 when we began): a means to share our successes and our challenges as we convert to a regenerative lifestyle. Secondly, It's an invitation for others to join us on the way forwards. We intend to inspire and enthuse others via 1) Our interactive WORKSHOPS and TOURS; 2) Share our surplus via our thriving selection of lovingly grown plants in our URBAN FARM NURSERY (Recently online and updated with current stock weekly - deliveries too!). 3) Encouraging the sale/trade/swop of URBAN FARM STALL goodies made by our fellow ethical local earth-care workers. The feeling of making a positive change which helps ourselves, our environment and our neighbours, creates an incredible feeling of satisfaction. This is a beautiful journey! If we can do it, you can too! Join us as we love to share our journey, experiences, knowledge and surplus goods...

Our Urban Farm Stall - the Story
BIOGRAPHY:
WHY?
Out of necessity, and to ensure the best possible lifestyle including vitality and goodness in our food, we designed according to permaculture principles, our Urban Farm Stall haven. We began to grow our own vegetables and herbs, and fruit. It worked! We shared!
We are passionate about promoting life and lifestyles! Life has become busy; food has become expensive; time is precious; health is important; education of future generations is imperative; we have a responsibility to give back more than we take; we care; we love; we grow; we share to empower...

HOW?
We build the soil at every opportunity: composting (in at least 5 ways similtaneously), mulch, cut and drop. No artificial pesticides or toxins. We capture and store energy on as many levels as possible including solar and water storage. We operate on a 'field-to-table' basis to support our own family with the basics; we share and/or sell the surplus; we recycle, re-purpose, re-use as much of the resources on the property as possible; we share knowledge and resources with the aim to empower ourselves and others. We have created an online nursery supplying naturally grown herbs, veg seedlings and indigenous plants, grown in our climate for our climate - hardy and strong, vibrant and energy-full. Our Urban Farmstall page links sellers with buyers and vice versa supporting the vast abundance of home-grown and home-produced goods. We offer workshops to inspire others to do the same, and support local talented facilitators simultaneously...
