Did someone say, precious? Say hello to Jasmine, a 2 month old Domestic Short Hair mix that is absolutely adorable. Jasmine is a little scared at first, but once she gets comfortable, she is your best friend. She loves to snuggle and doesn't mind being held. She has the loudest kitten purr that will warm any heart. Past times include lounging in the sun, hanging out on a cat tree, wrestling with her foster siblings. She has never been around a dog before, but we think she would do okay with a cat savvy dog, given a slow introduction. She hasn't had any problem being around other cats or cat savvy children. If this little girl looks like the right fit for you, apply today!

Meet Charlotte, the beautiful solid black, 6 month old kitten with a heart as lovely as her ebony coat. This precious girl has a fondness for toy wands, and watching her play with them is a joy to behold! Charlotte thrives in the company of other cats and having feline friends around brings out the best in her. She will do best in a home with other feline friends and only with cat-savvy older children. Her foster mom says that Charlotte is super sweet and warms up to a gentle hand quite well. She is comfortable living with a cat friendly dog and was fine being handled at the vet. Gorgeous and very affectionate, Miss Charlotte knows her name and comes when called! If she sounds like a fit for your heart & home, please apply to adopt today!

Tater is FREE to adopt if picked up in TN!

Looking for a relaxed, food-loving buddy with a bit of pep in his step? Meet Tater! This 5.5-year-old mixed breed, possibly Jack Russell and Shiba Inu, weighs in at about 40 lbs and is the perfect blend of laid-back and lively. Tater's general vibe is pretty chill—he's a champion couch potato. But watch out, squirrels! When he sees one, he turns into a squirrel-chasing superstar. He's very food-motivated and will eagerly trot into his crate for a treat. This guy knows his way around a "Sit" command and definitely understands "Crate." Fully housetrained and a lover of treats, Tater is the kind of dog who will ask to go out when he needs to. He enjoys a good chase with a ball and adores attention almost as much as he loves his snacks. Change can be a bit daunting for him, so he needs some time to adjust to new environments and people. Tater prefers to be the only pet in the household—he's not too keen on sharing the spotlight with other animals. He’s happiest when he's the center of attention. He walks nicely on a leash and rides well in the car, making him a pleasant companion for outings. The ideal home for Tater is a calm environment with a fenced yard where he can roam and relax. If you’re looking for a trained, easy-going dog who will love you endlessly (and ask for treats frequently), Tater is your perfect match! Bring Tater home and get ready for a lifetime of love and cozy couch cuddles!

Meet Burton, the spirited Border Collie/Shepherd mix ready to charm his way into your heart! At just 11.5 months old and weighing 45lbs, Burton is the epitome of puppy energy and enthusiasm. This playful goofball is always up for an adventure, especially if it involves exploring the great outdoors or engaging in a spirited game of fetch. One of Burton's most endearing qualities is his affectionate nature. He loves nothing more than showering his humans with hugs and snuggles, and watching him roll around and wiggle with joy in the yard is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. While Burton is still mastering obedience commands, his eagerness to learn and please shines through. He's doing well on his potty training and he is crate trained. His playful puppy antics are all part of his charm. Burton thrives in the company of other dogs, reveling in lively play sessions and companionship. A home with another energetic canine friend would be ideal for him, providing both playtime and valuable lessons in manners. Meet little Miss Wrigley, the bouncy bundle of joy you've been looking for! This 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Beagle mix is the epitome of happiness with a super bubbly personality and a knack for bringing smiles wherever she goes. Weighing in at 30 pounds, Wrigley is a medium to high-energy pup who loves to play but doesn’t require marathon exercise sessions. However, as a puppy, she does need activities to keep her from turning your shoes into chew toys! Wrigley's favorite pastime? Entertaining herself by hopping like a deer and tossing her toys in the air. She’s an independent spirit who loves her humans and doggy friends, but she’s not clingy. She’s fully housetrained and has settled into home life beautifully, learning her name and improving her house manners quickly. Wrigley loves walks on a leash, and though she’s not had much car experience, she’s ready to explore the world with you. She’s extremely friendly and confident with kids, adults, and other dogs, making her the perfect addition to any family. Wrigley is smart, spunky, and always up for a good time. Whether you're looking for a playmate for your current pets or a solo star, Wrigley will fit right in and brighten your days. Adopt Wrigley and let the fun begin!

Adopt Dolly for $100!

Meet Dolly, the spirited and lovable Great Pyrenees/Pit Bull Terrier mix who’s ready to bring joy and laughter into your home! At just 6 months old and weighing 35 pounds, Dolly is a medium to high-energy pup who adores attention and playtime. One of Dolly ’s most endearing habits is her talent for gathering multiple stuffed toys and proudly carrying them all at once—talk about impressive multitasking! She’s already learned to sit for treats and will go to the door when she needs a potty break, though her excitement sometimes gets the best of her. Dolly is a big fan of stuffed and crinkly toys, walks, and fetch. She dreams of a fenced yard where she can safely chase squirrels and enjoy her playful antics. While Dolly can be a bit socially awkward with new dogs and needs slow introductions, she quickly settles in and shows her sweet side. Crate training is going well for Dolly —she’ll go in for treats and settles down after a brief whine. She walks nicely on a leash and is a calm car rider. Dolly would thrive in a loving home with a yard, where she can enjoy cuddle sessions on the couch, fun walks, and lots of playtime. If you’re looking for a loyal and trainable companion, Dolly is your girl. Bring this bundle of joy home and watch her fill your days with happiness!

This dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for BINGO.

Looking for a loyal companion? Meet Bingo! This 2-year-old mix of American Pit Bull Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, and American Staffordshire Terrier will win your heart with his devotion and playful nature. Weighing in at 40 pounds, Bingo is a medium-sized bundle of joy who loves nothing more than to play fetch and chew on his beloved stuffed toys and Nylabones. Bingo's unique charm shines through in his quirky habits. He absolutely adores ice cubes and will eagerly run to the fridge with you for a treat. He also has a soft spot for pup cups from Starbucks. Despite being mostly deaf, Bingo is a smart cookie and responds well to hand commands like place, sit, down, and stay. He's a graduate of The Dog Wizard of Knoxville, and his training can continue with his new family. Bingo is fully potty trained and will ring bells hanging on the door to let you know when he needs to go out. He's also crate trained, making bedtime and alone time a breeze. Looking for a faithful companion who will be your shadow and keep you company every step of the way? Meet Toby, the 11.5-pound, 1.5-year-old Yorkie with a heart as big as his short little legs! Toby is the ultimate lap dog who will follow you everywhere! This sweet boy is all about snuggles and kisses. Toby's happiest when he's right by your side, whether that means sitting in your lap or watching you go about your day. He’s got a low-to-medium energy level, making him perfect for someone who enjoys short strolls rather than long hikes. Plus, with his excellent recall, he’ll come running back to you at the sound of his name, no matter what. Toby is the perfect gentleman with other dogs, ignores cats, and has no problem with kids. His only quirk? He’s not a fan of being carried—he’s got four legs, and he’s determined to use them! At night, he settles quietly in his crate, dreaming of the next day’s adventures with his favorite human. If you’re ready to welcome a loving, devoted little buddy into your life, Toby is waiting to jump into your lap and your heart!

COURTESY LISTING
This dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for ROO. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply.

Introducing Roo: Your Energetic and Affectionate Companion! Roo is a 2 1/2-year-old Mountain Cur weighing approximately 50lbs. This handsome pup is bursting with energy, always ready for an adventure. However, when he's seeking affection, he knows how to switch into a calm and loving mode. One of the most endearing qualities about Roo is his love for affection and his favorite pastime—running and doing zoomies in the yard! You'll find yourself charmed by his playful antics and infectious joy. Watching him fetch and play with toys is an absolute delight. Roo is a well-trained dog who knows commands such as sit, wait, place, and kennel. He recently completed a 30-day in-board training, demonstrating his eagerness to learn and please his human companions. If needed, his caregivers are more than willing to cover the cost of additional training to ensure a smooth transition into your home. When it comes to manners, Roo is house-trained and has excellent crate behavior. He understands the cue to kennel up and is comfortable spending time in his crate. You won't have to worry about any accidents or destructive behavior. Roo enjoys playing fetch, spending time with his favorite toys, and socializing with other dogs. His friendly nature makes him an ideal playmate for canine pals of all sizes. Although he hasn't been around cats, livestock, or many children, he may be tempted to give chase to small creatures out of playfulness. From a medical standpoint, Roo is in excellent health, with no known concerns. Roo has shown compatibility with dogs and adults; however, he may need some time to warm up to new people. Slow introductions and a gentle approach are key to helping him feel comfortable. He walks well on a leash and rides calmly in the car, making him a great companion for outings and adventures. This sweet and intelligent boy thrives in an understanding and loving home. He's eager to continue learning, and his caregivers believe he would benefit from activities like swimming, as he showed great interest and enthusiasm during his encounters with the pool. If you're seeking a loyal and fun-loving companion who will keep you active and entertained, Roo is the perfect match. Adopting Roo means gaining a friend for life who will shower you with love, energy, and affection. Ask us about Roo today!

COURTESY LISTING
Looking for a furry friend who embodies the spirit of adventure? Meet Melody, the adorable and spirited Transylvanian Hound (or maybe a Black and Tan Coonhound) looking for her forever home! At 3 years old and 60 lbs, Melody is bursting with energy, intelligence, and love. She's searching for a family who understands hound traits and can provide her with the active and engaging lifestyle she craves. Melody is a clever girl who loves playing games, especially searching for hidden toys. She already knows the command "sit" and will impress you with her obedience. When it's time to unwind, she's happy to relax with her plush toy trying to find the squeaker and keeping herself entertained. Melody is a great companion for outdoor adventures and long walks. She adores being outside and will accompany you on every exploration. While she enjoys her high-energy activities, she can also settle down and cuddle up, ready for some quality time on the couch. Melody has great house manners and is house trained and crate trained. She sleeps soundly in her crate, making bedtime a breeze. Car rides are a joy for her, and she'll eagerly join you. Melody is not a fan of cats due to her prey drive and would probably do best as the only pet in her home. She loves children and is friendly with strangers, showing her affectionate nature to everyone she meets. Like most hounds, Melody is strong on the leash. She requires an owner who can handle her strength and provide the guidance she needs. She's ready to bring her zest for life and infectious happiness into your home. Don't miss out on the opportunity to share your adventures with this special hound dog, Miss Melody! Apply to adopt today.

This dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for Melody.
