Sadly, I've actually heard people say that cats will "figure it out" if they take them out into the country and abandon them. Or if they take them to a colony they know is being fed and let them go. I could fill volumes about what people don't know or don't understand about cats. 💔🤬

Domestic cats don't have the survival skills that ferals do. They won't be okay! Don't leave them to die all alone on the streets!

Day 2: completing 111 cat and kitten winter shelters! We got to spend the day with several very fine volunteers from Lititz VFW 1463 Auxiliary. If you look at the pictures you'll see it wasn't all work!

DAY 1 : Volunteers for Purr-fect Love TNR and Last Litter Rescue begin the process of sorting, sizing, and cutting entrances into donated, used, like-new, styrofoam containers that will become life-saving shelter for homeless cats and kittens this winter. Check in tomorrow for day 2 as the finished product comes to life!

Please help us find the right home or homes for these two great 7 month old kittens. They were scheduled to be adopted when they turned 3 months old, were fixed and ready to go. The approved adopter had said they were adopting both of them. Adoption day came, no call, no show, No home for these sweet 3 month old kittens. They went into long term foster care with a great family who had adopted 2 of their siblings. A week ago a wonderful family adopted them together. Despite that they were very good house guests and the family was enjoying them, the family dog would have none of it. The proper transition was in place, but after a week the family reached back out to us. As soon as we realized it was possible that the dog was not only a threat to these two kittens, but was developing unfavorable behaviors towards the family. We requested that the kittens be returned to us. They are safely back in our care, but they are not happy about it because they don't understand why they are limited to one room again. It was sad for all of us. Please share this and help us find the right situation for our two most senior kittens. PLEASE SHARE.
