Fendi
Meet Fendi
This little "Southern Belle" came from Alabama with her siblings to avoid euthanasia at an Alabama kill shelter!
Fendi is an addict. She's addicted to love, and affection and she knows how to get it too! She's super loving to both people and other kitties.
Fendi is what her foster mom calls "fur-covered GOLD." She really is a charmer who is ready for her forever home with one of her sisters (Prada, Versace, or Chanel)
Please note: It is our goal to keep them together in pairs. They are bonded and have been through a lot together. HART recommends kittens 6 months of age and younger be adopted in pairs.
She is a grey and white tabby, domestic short hair, born March 30, 2023.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer. Thanks!

Hi - My name is Nico! Check out my video!
Hi, my name is Nico!
I am ready for my forever home.
My story is a little different than most kitties looking for a home so I'm going to have my foster mom Jen tell it.
When I got the call for Nico, it was very sad because he was not a stray but actually had a mommy, and when she fell terminally ill she needed to make the decision to find a rescue to take Nico because of some issues of aggression. (I have never seen it unless he goes to the vet.)
Nico was deemed to be euthanized if the original owner ever had to rehome him because of how he liked to play! Because of this the veterinarian decided to put him as a bite rest and drugging him out on Prozac which made him not a normal cat.
When the owner found out Nico had to be rehomed, she was devastated by what the previous vet had said. So, she got him into our rescue where I became his foster mommy.
The first thing I did was get him off the Prozac and from there he became a normal cat. He had never been around any other cats or dogs, and he had no problems with them and actually loved having friends.
With this said, I will tell you about Nico today.
Nico loves attention, he loves his pets and rubs and will have you laughing for hours watching him do silly things.
Nico is a 2 year DSH black med sized cat weighing 9 lbs. Nico is front paw declawed.
Nico loves cat towers, and wall steps that he can climb like he is in the jungle.
Nico loves his catnip toys and playing with his flying bird.
Nico is healthy and energetic and has done a 180 since he has been in my care.
Nico is good with everyone and when he wants his alone time, he will get comfortable in his cat tower or a bed by a window.
Nico has done well with kids, non-dominant cats, and cat friendly dogs.
Nico will thrive in any home, so if you're interested, please fill out an application on HARTS website.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/ad

Caldwell
HART only believes in the best for their fosters! Meet Caldwell! While Caldwell is not available yet, we wanted to share his story. Caldwell came to HART a couple months back when the tornados hit KY. He was tethered to a piece of equipment and the tornado tossed this poor guy around breaking his leg. The surgery was performed and unfortunately the leg did not heal correctly. Caldwell has since undergone another surgery at Medvet to re-break the leg. The bones needed to be filed down before they were fused together. To help Caldwell better heal, HART made the decision to have him participate in water therapy. This guy only deserves the best and that is what he will get! Stay tuned for Caldwell’s progress!
