I have two upcoming litters, to be bred within the next 1-2 months.

First up is Michia::Proximo - all plush coats and they will be in shades of sables and bi-colors and duals. This litter is co-owned with Midnight Shilohs and will be picked up in Buffalo, NY

Next is Fuse::Blue - These puppies will be in smooth and plush coats in a variety of sables and bi-colors and duals. They will be picked up in Indianapolis, IN

I have two girls available from my Emmy::Banyan litter. This is Emmy's last litter and I am hoping to find a home that will do at least 1 litter with each girl.

Echo Shiloh’s in conjunction with Sentinel Shilohs with co-own Super Nova Shilohs are pleased to announce the confirmed Breeding of Emmy and Banyan, born May 21. This will be the first F3 litter from our outcross with Boeke (Netherlands Wetterhoun/Poodle outcross project).

Emmy is my ISSA Champion and 3x Grand Victrix in the show ring. She exudes confidence, look at me attitude and demands attention wherever she goes. She is gorgeous and knows it! She loves to be with her family, swim in any body of water she sees and absolutely loves playing ball. She is a bit of a Diva and lets you know when you are late with her food, she wants to be brushed, or just wants attention. Everyone falls in love with her that meets her.

So why choose an outcross for Emmy? I am looking to bring in some health, genetic diversity, lower COI’s and bring in some conformation virtues that Boeke’s line brought in. In the F2 Generation we were pleased to have no cow hocks, blocky heads and muzzles, Ears were a concern but two of the puppies in the F2 litter had erect ears.

Just to remind everyone, Boeke was a product of an intense outcross program out of the Wetterhoun breed club in the Netherlands in an effort to expand genetic diversity in their own breed. The aim of this original breeding was to increase genetic diversity. When Boeke was DNA tested he brought 4 completely new haplotypes plus a significant amount of new or rare STR. STR determines differences between individuals and breeds. More differences means less inbreeding.
Although Boeke did not look like a Shiloh Shepherd he had much to offer. He was confident with an eager to please disposition. The Wetterhoun side of Boeke’s pedigree possesses the wide stocky bodies, correct hocks, broad heads and broad muzzles. The Standard Poodle brings the confidence, smarts and friendly disposition.

So Why Banyan?
Banyan is the most diverse of the F2 litter with 69% Shiloh, 20% Wetterhoun and 11% Poodle and a low COI. He has blocky Head, Excellent dome and stop. Like the Wetterhoun he loves the water. He is happy, loves his family, and prefers his people over interacting with other dogs or outside distractions, He is biddable, currently being trained in tracking, obedience, and protection (IGP), also nose work. He has his CGC and Schutzhund BH title. He is a loving boy who is good with other dogs, friendly to strangers, with little prey drive. He loves his ball, daily walks, training, and his eagerness to please makes him a joy to partner with.

What do we expect to see from the puppies? I expect to see family friendly puppies that will love to work with their owner’s, with a bit of drama flair from their mom. They will more than likely love water and excel and sports for fun (think dock diving). They will likely be medium energy and want to be with their families and integrate into their lives on a daily basis. We may see some puppies with down ears, but hopefully with early intervention we will be able to get these puppies ears up. All the puppies will be sables, and some will carry the dual gene.

These puppies are integral in the future of Shiloh genepool and I am looking for owners willing to keep these dogs intact to see how they mature and potentially breed them in the future depending on health testing, conformation and temperament. Blue boy. He is a confident boy that would do well in an active home to keep him busy and dabble in sports or hiking with him. He loves to play and enjoys tug and can be a little independent. When his littermates get to be too exuberant, he leaves and lays down with his toys. He loves to use his nose to explore. He does have a great off switch, so he isn't on the go all the time. He enjoys snuggles when it isn't too hot.

He is a possible candidate for service dog work for someone that has a professional trainer. He will need to kept intact for breeding in the future

Red boy, is one boy that can go without being bred - but I’d want the same health testing done and have his semen frozen and stored. He is a bit independent, slightly stubborn, but is sweet as pie. He needs some confidence building, which will entail training classes, positive exposure and working at his pace. He is playful, mostly with his siblings - he enjoys toys as well and enjoys snuggling when he isn't too hot.

Teal Girl - She is the second solid black smooth coat born within the ISSA since the early 2000's! She is a rare gem that is looking for the perfect home! Teal needs an experienced home to bring her to her full potential! She would love a home with another solid dog to show her the ropes and romp with, and a family that would love to do training and socialization with this fantastic girl. She will bond tightly with her family and prefer her family to outsiders. She enjoys to play and that can be used to build her confidence in new situations.

Suta::Willie - this litter is most likely sold out. They will be raised and whelped in Indiana. We will be getting a range of softer temperaments that are confident and excellent family dogs that will do great in most homes. Both dogs are bomb proof and do great in any situation. Clover is one of my up and coming girls and just turned 1 in January. As part of preliminary health screening she got her Hips and Elbow’s tested through OFA.

Results: OFA Excellent and Normal Elbows!!

She has also passed her Holter test at 6 months and has her CGC. next up is her OFA Advanced Cardiac. She will get her final OFA’s and PennHIP when she turns 2!

Suta is due to be bred to Willie this week. Both Suta and Willie have solid temperaments, and have done well in the show ring. Suta was 2023's ISSA Grand Victrix. I am expecting family friendly puppies in all plush coats. They will be a variety of gray and brown sables and solid blacks. Puppies will be due Mid April and go home Mid June from Indiana. I do have space available on my wait list.

What a great day today! Envy, Yahtzee, Emmy, Fuse and Clover headed to Harley-Davidson of Indianapolis to visit with puppy owners that came into town for a football game! When you get one of my pups, you end up as family - as proven today. It was great getting everyone out and visiting with a bunch of people today

We had our ISSA National Shiloh Shepherd Show near Denver, CO this year. We had a fantastic Echo Shilohs turnout! People drove from all over the US to join us.

This is what breeding is about, creating a community of family and having amazing owners that are dedicated to these special dogs.

So this is a rare post in the Shiloh Community. My wait list has been closed for a few years and I am opening it up for this litter. Lani was bred to Johnny Cash and Atlas and we are waiting on DNA results of who's the father of which puppy. However, I do have openings on this litter for 1 male possibly and females.

I am expecting family friendly puppies that will love to be with their families doing chores, going on errands or at their kids soccer games.

Lani, Atlas and Johnny Cash are rock solid and great examples of the breed. Lani has done excellent in the show ring and has amazing floating movement.

Puppies would be picked up on April 9 in Louisville, KY

*Preference goes to people willing to breed, and keep the pups intact*
