Canned, fresh, and/or frozen raw meats are required for feline health and prosperity. Processed kibble poured out of a bag is inadequate, and leads to urinary and kidney troubles over time. Cats are obligate carnivores, and they require meat in their diet, frequently. They develop an appetite every three hours or so, and need fed often. Kibble is to tide them through the night or during prolonged guardian absences. Meat keeps cats healthy. Daily facial massage is necessary t promote dental health and avoid tartar build up. Using the cheeks as a toothbrush, massage the face below the eye to stimulate the gums and wipe the daily plaque away. Five minutes, twice daily prevents dental issues. Facial massage over all the teeth, especially those below and behind the eyes, please. Kibble makes cats fat, canned food makes cats thin, lithe, shed-free, and healthy. We never get to see the canned and raw food patients, as the seldom become ill, you know. Cheers, Sid

Vibrissae are essential sensory structures that allow horses to race safely at speed in close company, spatial locators of not only their position, but other horses’ shifting spatial positions surroudning them. Their whiskers can feel the rail, sense the going, know the acceleration of others approaching or departing, and so much more that we do not know. The amount of brain tissue to which vibrissae deliver information is considerable, informing neurologists of the critical survival and protection functions of horses’ treasured facial hairs.
