Hope everyone is enjoying the Summer now it has finally arrived 😁😁😁

I have absolutely no availability for the remainder of August and all of September I'm afraid and a few days in October only.

As part of being a licensed boarder it requires an over night trial if you dog(s) are boarding for more than 3 days. So if you have any dates for 2025 please do get in touch 🐾🐾🐾 to discuss your dog(s) needs, one dog only boards taken on, please request this when contacting thank you.

Had some great walks this past week with Herbie and guest dogs Brock and Bess - Sunday's beach walk at Ulrome was sunny and beautiful and Tuesday's beach walk at Barmston was still beautiful but windy and soggy (I'm sure I saw Dorothy fly past with a glint of red sparkly👠👠) some fields and wildlife - Bess nearly got a field mouse 😳 thank goodness it was slightly quicker than her! Brock and Bess are on their second holiday at Herbie's Hyde - Home Dog Boarding for 2024 and they really are an absolute pleasure xx

Aunty Juwee, yes Monroe. Why have my paw🐾ents not collected me from daycare yet? Its getting late..... I replied, "don't worry my gorgeous boy 💙, they are 'Never Gonna Give You Up' they have gone to see some random guy called Rick Astley and they've packed your PJs" 🐾💙🐾

🐾😊🐾 2024 has been and still is a very busy year, Christmas has been booked 😊 a lovely puppy so might have to rethink Christmas tree 🎄 😅 have taken several bookings for 2025 recently so if you have holidays for 2025 in mind please do get in touch 😊

Skip said to me this morning "Aunty Juwee, when is my Mum and Dad coming home?" I explained they have gone to a place where there is wall to wall sunshine as England 🇬🇧 doesn't have sunshine everyday, well even every week at the moment 🐾😎🐾

I explained 3 more sleeps and then you can have a Dad cuddle. "Oh okay, that's cool, can I have another biscuit now?" ....... 🐾🐕🐾🐕🐾

❌ RAPESEED! ❌

It’s that time of year again where farmers fields have blossomed into pretty yellow flowers, these plants are called rapeseed. Although it may be tempting to place your dog in the mist to take a scenic photo, please avoid this at all costs!

Rapeseed is extremely poisonous for dogs, especially in highly sensitive canines.

Rapeseed is listed by Dogs Trust as toxic to our dogs if ingested and can cause symptoms such as:

❌ Hemolytic Anemia
❌ Blindness
❌ Damaged Nervous System
❌ Digestive Disorders
❌ Breathing Problems

Even walking through these fields should be avoided! In June 2019, a dog has been reported to suffer from severe open wounds after running through a crop of rapeseed.

Please seek immediate veterinary attention if your dog shows any signs of rapeseed poisoning!

Herbie done so well at the Fun Dog Show at Brandesburton yesterday. A lovely event and good socialising for dogs.

So proud of our first, Best Short Hair, Herbie has acute allergies and is still recovering from an 'episode' he really is an amazing boy 💙
