Dr. Emily is a great online resource for cats with kidney disease, etc. and does lots of good You Tube videos, so you might want to consider following her as another vet resource in your life >^,^

Rescue or dedicated, patient adopter needed. This post was made by one of our longtime rescue friends and supporters. She and her hubby have saved countless cats, kittens and dogs in person, through generous rescue donations and cross posting animals in need far and wide. Now they are asking for some help...

They are worried about this sweet kitty, CAROLINA, and possibly her now adult kitten who are fending for themselves in a very busy area in Pineville. Full details and bio are in the OP. They would very much like to get them out of harm's way and into a rescue or loving home before the cold temps return.

They will be a bit of a project as they are still shy around humans, but their living conditions are not conducive to socializing as you will see in the OP.

PLEASE spay/neuter your pets - there is NO way to adopt our way out of the current animal crisis nationwide. Shelters and rescues are overflowing. These cats and dogs left to fend for themselves die agonizing deaths before they even have a chance. 💔

If you need low-cost S/N options - watch the Friends of Feral Felines page along with ours. You need to move fast as these clinics typically fill very quickly! Also Carolina Place Animal Hospital Mobile Spay & Neuter is a great resource for NC/SC residents just outside of Charlotte and offers weekly clinics in Ft. Mill in September.

WHO: For caregivers in any county; Each stray/feral community cat MUST be in a HUMANE TRAP! - No cats in carriers.

*Limit of 4 community cats per caretaker.

WHERE: Pet Supermarket, 3036 Weddington Road, Matthews, NC 28105

DROP-OFF: Sign-in begins at 7:30AM and ends at 8:15AM.

PICK-UP: Same day & NO later than 3:00/3:30PM

The community cat package at this mobile clinic will include Spay or Neuter Surgery, Rabies Vaccine, FVRCP Vaccine, Post-Op Pain Medication, & a Left Ear Tip (mandatory).

COST: $2️⃣5️⃣ (regularly $85)

EXTRAS: Add-on services are available for an additional cost to the caregiver and can be found listed on the sign up form.

Hi friends - yes we know this is a dog! SAMMY is a very special cat loving dog and he needs help ASAP as he is losing his home through no fault of his own.

SAMMY the Sweet is a BIG mush muffin - 85-90 # of love. Currently lives with an elderly dog and a kitty. He is 7 years young and no known health issues. His Mom who has loved him from the start has serious health challenges of her own and can no longer keep him. She is crushed and wants only the best for him, but we are almost out of time before she has to move. 💔 He needs an adopter or happy to go to rescue. Can you be his angel? At the very least PLEASE SHARE.

Hendersonville, NC area - Beautiful BONDED PAIR needs a loving new home. The rescue cannot pull them without a foster home for them. They are currently in a loud noisy shelter which is no place for these sweet lady kitties.

This hardworking York County, SC rescue is on a TNR mission! They have also taken in several seriously hurt kitties in the past couple of weeks.
If you are in a position to throw your "coffee money" their way one day this week, they would be so grateful! Rescues cannot do what they do without financial support and volunteers.
