Important bedding info for those of you who are helping outdoor kitties as colder weather moves in 💟

🍂❄️ Cold weather is coming! Good intentions matter but the wrong materials can do more harm than good for outdoor cats.

❌ Cat beds, blankets, towels, & hay → trap moisture and get cold.
✅ STRAW → keeps cats warm and dry all winter!

Spread the word: “Straw is for strays!” 🐱💛

❗And don’t forget Trap / Neuter / Vaccinate / Return (TNVR) to help community cats thrive all year long. 💉

Over 100 items now to include many gift certificates to local restaurants, spas, saunas, classes, target, athleta, Starbucks coffee, Renaissance faire, tickets to Daniel Stowe, Christmas at the speedway, the list is long! We have some higher $$$ things we still are putting on the auction two all-inclusive trips, XGolf, Yeti cooler plus Stanley cups package, tickets to Six at Blumenthal, a pickleball package, dog boarding, pet photography package, massage, the list goes on. Charlotte, NC - Meet WILL - a neutered, male Munchkin mix current on vetting with some "special needs" for his special self!

CLT friends and supporters we need your help please.

This is Will and he is looking for a loving new home. He is a Forever Feline Friends alum, so very near and dear to our hearts even though we are no longer taking in cats/kittens. He is a "special needs" kitty, but that doesn't stop him from being a playful and loving boy. His first adopter had to go into a nursing home and she loved him very much. Then he moved into his new home where he has been for the past 5 years. He never adjusted well to the other cats there despite his current people doing all the right things, so he needs to be the only cat now please.

His family is moving now due to family health issues, and he won't be able to have the private space he has had here. They love him and feel it's best for him to have a new home where he can be the only cat going forward. Since he is special needs, he will need a monthly vet visit. His Dad said he will help with those vet expenses with his new adopter. Will has stomatitis which is a painful inflammation of the gums. He has had most of his teeth removed all ready but needs a monthly shot to help manage ongoing pain. He has a couple of other health conditions his Dad can explain as well.

Please consider giving Will have a home where he can love and play with you and maintain his monthly vet visit. If you are seriously interested in considering Will your family member, please call/text his Dad at 443-425-7649 and ask for Jack or email him at [email protected]. Since Will was adopted through Forever Felines Friends 4-5 yrs ago, we are happy to orchestrate and help with the adoption process again, but Will is not currently in our care.

PLEASE SHARE with anyone you know who might be able to provide the loving home he deserves. As always, we appreciate your help 💟

Our Story

Forever Feline Friends is a registered, 501c3 non-profit, feline rescue and adoption organization in Charlotte, NC. In addition we have a feral building/enclosed yard area at the rescue where we bring old or sick community cats to live out their days in safety and with the ability to get vet care as needed. Several cats are now hospice cases, but will live out their lives with love and dignity in our care.

We focus on adult/senior cats and educate the public that an older, less than perfect cat who may have kidney issues or be FIV+ is just as deserving of a loving home and has so much love to give. The beauty of adopting an adult cat is that they are full size and their personality has developed. We can typically give adopters an idea of their feline finickiness level too!

As a small, volunteer based organization we do not have a shelter. All our rescues are housed in foster homes - most with other cats and sometimes dogs, so they are used to the activities of a regular household.

We welcome questions on any of our residents and are happy to have interested parties come meet the cats in person - they love visitors - and you get a much better feel for how that cat would fit into your household. We look forward to hearing from you!
