Beverley and Leslie met many years ago in the rural Virginia county of Goochland-a place name that is for real, even if many of the dogs you make in this book aren’t. Surely from a place with a name like that, some silliness is bound to come. Leslie had two, Carson and Adelaide, and Beverley had two as well, Peyton and Alex, and later her s

on named Walker. In the mix were dogs, cats, pygmy goats, guinea pigs, guinea fowl, fish and horses - whew! When the women ended up teaching together at a preschool in Richmond, Virginia, they shared their love of children, animals and books and sealed a friendship this is still going strong. This book became the perfect next step in their lives, as well as proof that silliness knows no age limits. They hope you love playing what-if as much as they do. Get some giggles going!
