PLEASE DON’T POISON YOUR CAT THIS EASTER
Easter lillies are pretty…in photos.
Just sniffing a lily or rubbing up against one and then licking the pollen from their paws, can cause fatal kidney failure in less than 3 days.
Every part of the plant is toxic-stem, flower and even the water in the vase.
Signs of poisoning usually begin in 6-12 hours with vomitting and diarrhea.
Even if treated in time, many cats never regain full kidney function.
