Good Monday morning…..
I would like to thank everyone for their amazing support of CDSP.

Just a few reminders….

Trial Hosts. Please be sure to get your Trial Score Reporting sheets to me within the 7 days of your hosted event. I have to update the database in trial date order.

Judges. Please
be aware of the differences in the versatility moving stand exercise has a side swipe touch. It also has the call to heel ending. The utility stand is just a touch on shoulder and back.
be conscious about too much “chatter” when the exhibitors are showing their dogs. Praise is encouraged but there cannot be continuous talking and definitely not commands.
be aware of the exhibitors giving out treats. Only after you have said exercise finished and the exhibitors CANNOT AT ALL hold their dogs in place with a hand to feed the treat. That would be an NQ.

Exhibitiors. Please
Know the regulations for your class. Don’t ask several people the day of. You will get different answers and then not be happy about your scoring.
Stop all the excess talking. Yes you can praise your dog but you cannot “command” them for their every step
When giving a treat. DO NOT hold your dog in place. That’s an NQ
Be ready for your class when entering the ring. Know the set up.
