Update on Patricia Rockstroh's criminal case (2024CM000221 State of Wisconsin vs. Patricia A Rockstroh):

Her lawyer asked for a 30 day continuance so the next hearing date is 8-12-24.

Mark your calendars and get ready for a plea deal. We have to get the 5 remaining male studs neutered, re-homed and ban her from owning any intact animals of ANY kind. Horses need to be re-homed as well!!!!!!

She is a bad breeder and a horrible person. She does not deserve to be given any more chances to harm animals or cheat people.

SHUT HER DOWN FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meeting with the DA this week.

Reminder: Patricia Rockstroh is scheduled for a Pre-trial Conference with the DA on June 26 at 10 am.

I don't think this is a public meeting. It's the kind of meeting where plea deals start getting negotiated.

There's a hearing meeting scheduled for July 11, which is in front of the Judge and likely public. This is when we'll know if she has cut a deal or not.

Good news!!!!

Paddy's Paws worked tirelessly with Town Chairperson Kim Cheney to transfer 25 dogs from Patricia Rockstroh to the rescue.

They have been working for a while and we were sworn to secrecy to avoid any issues.

12 dogs were surrendered a few days ago (all males), yesterday 4 adult females, 5 males (approx 6 months), 3 2 week old puppies with the mom (13 dogs) were surrendered. A total of 25 dogs/puppies. 5 intact stud dogs remain on Pat's property.

The original count from Ag was 30 including her 5 intact stud dog and did not include the 3 young pups and mom, they were delivered in mid April to Pat from Adam Bailey.

So if you do the math there are some dogs missing. One we know was sold to a woman on 4-18. There is also a litter of 6 missing that Kim Cheney saw in early April. We know where the missing litter is and we'll post more about them later.

It is quite obvious that Pat has moved dogs out of her property to other locations to avoid surrendering them.

We are ecstatic that 25 dogs/puppies are in the rescue's hand and not Pat's. This is the result of hard work done by Paddy's Paws and Chairperson Kim Cheney.

For now enjoy the happiness of knowing that you were part of this and it could not have happened without ALL OF YOU!!!!!

25 dogs taken out of horrendous environment and ready to start a new chapter of loving healthy lives.

This complaint was filed with the Wisconsin Dept of Ag in January 2023. There is no evidence of any action taken by the Department.

Hey Dept of Ag why no vet visit?

Cocker Spaniels are prone to eye problems. Pat's Cocker Spaniels are prone to cataracts and glaucoma. Three of the male stud dogs in her living room are squinting and not making eye contact.

They may already be blind. They need an ophthalmologist to test for severe dry eye, glaucoma, retinal scratches and infection.

You don't have to be a vet to see they are having issues with their eyes.

Ag inspectors should be trained to identify these health issues. A vet needs to examine all of these dogs.

TOWNSHIP REVEALS THAT DOGS ARE IN SAME ENVIRONMENT AS THEY FOUND IN MARCH!!!!!! NO IMPROVEMENTS MADE SINCE AG VISIT IN NOV 2023

NO CHANGES MADE AT PATRICIA ROCKSTROH'S HOME SINCE TOWNSHIP VISIT IN MARCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When the Chairwoman went to Pat's home again on April 4th she went with Deputy Betanski and 2 Wisconsin Dept of Ag inspectors (the same 2 that were there in November 2023)

They found the EXACT same situation in the basement. NO CHANGE. These poor dogs crammed in the same kennels as in March 2024 as in November 2023!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A third visit was made at the request of Patricia Rockstroh by the Chairwoman and another Board member. Pat wanted the Chairwoman to come alone. EXACT SAME CONDITIONS EXCEPT now there was a litter of puppies in the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dept of Ag had done NOTHING since NOVEMBER 2023!!!!!!! NOTHING!!!!

Pat's long time 'boyfriend' Bruce Calloway was at the meeting asking for another chance. Asking to be allowed to make some changes and get their license back. The Township strongly recommended against another chance.

But the fact remains that there are 28 adult dogs and a litter of puppies in a house of pure NEGLECT AND ABUSE.

The Township said they can seize them but the cost could be as high as $100k. They want Bruce to convince Pat to surrender them but Pat can't tell what day it is today.

More time passing with those dogs crammed into kennels.

NO VET HAS EXAMINED THOSE DOGS.

IT'S OUTRAGEOUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dept of Ag YOU'RE FIRED!!!!

We think heads should roll at the Wisconsin Dept of Agriculture for leaving those poor dogs in those cages in the basement.

Whomever the inspector was or the compliance officer was should be FIRED!!!!!

Ag has rules and regulations for animal welfare. Patricia Rockstroh was in violation of those rules and regulations and Ag left them there.

It's been 6 months since they first saw them all huddled together matted and scared.

People need to be held accountable for their own part in this negligence.
