We raised $2560!!
I am feeling very humbled by everyone’s generosity, I don’t think I can really express in words how much this means to me, so in the simplest of terms, Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I started Sunshine Service Dogs because I seen the healing power of dogs and wanted to share that with others, but also make it affordable, that’s a big task for one person to do and I had to learn that I can’t do it all by myself.
To my wife Kay and an amazing human and friend Rhianna whom created and coordinated this whole thing, I actually couldn’t have done it without you two! You two are the best!
And to my puppy Raiser Cathy and all my other helpers and supporters, you’re amazing! This can’t be done without all your support.
100% of these proceeds to straight to our Psych Support Service Dogs in Training and all their care and training needs! You supporting Mental Health and giving a much needed tool to someone in need. That’s absolutely amazing!

Reintroducing Rip!
He has been working hard in the PSSD program! He is now 18 months old, lives full time with his handler, has many human brothers and sisters and a cat sister! He is smart, attentive to his handler and of course, always down for some playtime when off duty!
A few of his favourite things:

Salmon treats
His mom! Swimming!

2 Short Term Puppy Raisers Wanted!
We are looking for two short term placements for our youngest pups in the program. This placement will only be for December and January.
What does a Puppy Raiser do?
You will invite the PSSDiT into your home and look after them day to day. This will include bringing them to vet appointments, after spay/neuter care, training sessions and social time. You will follow our puppy raiser guidelines and be help support our puppies as they grow and becomes Psych Support Service Dogs!
All things needed for our 10 month old puppies will be supplied by Sunshine Service Dogs including food, leashes, collars, toys and a crate.
Our ideal candidate would be someone whom has a flexible schedule, experience with dogs, lives in the Saskatoon area and can transport our puppies when needed.
If you are willing to open up your home for a few months to a wonderful Black Lab puppy please shoot us and email at [email protected]

We had a wonderful guest come by our PSSD Training class last night! All the pups did wonderfully and Santa was very patient with our pups training!
We have some more to announce coming soon so stay tuned :)

We have been a little quiet on the socials lately. Sorry everyone.
What have the dogs been up to you ask?
Well just about everything!
Shadow and Sully have been going on lots of adventures both on and off their vests! These two will soon be 9 months old, can you believe it!!
Dutch had his first sleep over with his handler this weekend and did amazing! Dutch will be a year old in November!
Last but certainly not least, Rip! Rip has been with his handler full time for quite sometime now and is mastering the art of being amazing! He had his first big road trip out to BC last week, it was a lot of work but a lot of fun as well! Rip will be 1.3 years old soon!
We still need to make $3000 more dollars to accomplish our goal! If you or anyone you know has considered donating, now is the time. We accept cash, e transfer or cheque to [email protected]
