Sams Story, heart soul journey Sam (Senor Grise) is an 12yr old 17hh Thoroughbred off the track. He has serious talent but equally

Sam is a 17hh Thoroughbred that raced his last race on the 3rd September 2013. He was born in October 2007 and is by Cordoba out of a Kenmare mare. He is a multiple winner on the track, having won 5 and placed 12 times. He had a short break at a friend and came to me on the 1st December 2013. He wasn't worked when he arrived as he was in the first stage of AHS inoculations, and received the 2nd on

e in the middle of December. Also with the drive from Pietermartizburg to Grahamstown, a trip of some 16 hours he lost a lot of weight so I decided to let him generally have some time off to rest and recover his condition. When it came time to work him trouble came along in large doses both under saddle and in-hand!

To all the friends of Sam, I really need your help. I recently changed from using a desktop to a high level laptop but sadly in transferring the data, much of it did not copy across. The IT guy who did the whole process is refusing to take responsibility so I have taken the original hard drives to a data recovery company to see if they can help.

Sadly Sam's book and all his photos were among the casualties. The book which had taken me 4 years to write was finally complete and ready for editing, is gone and possibly will not be recovered. And so many of the high resolution photos which I had converted to line drawings for inclusion in the book have also disappeared, as have the drawings.

I can possibly redo the drawings from the 100's of photos on FB and have two options re the book itself. I try to rewrite it in the format it was in, or I can actually reproduce the entire thing using the FB posts as content and then commenting on the context in a summary for each section.

Either way will illustrate his journey from a fearful dangerous horse to a wonderful trustworthy free spirit - but perhaps using the actual posts might be more interesting to readers.

Please give me your thoughts on which way you might prefer.

I tried to create a poll but FB won't let me in this format. So just say A or B

A - conventional book
B - using actual FB post with a storyline and summary after different sections.

Thanks so much
