Ultrasound update:

Disappointing news.....out of 4 females, we have 1 possible pregnancy. She would be due in February so, it's a little too soon to tell with 100% certainty. I will redo the ultrasound in a few weeks to see if there is any progress

While I wait for my daughter's bedtime for ultrasounds.....

We put our tree up and one of our crazy monkey cats chewed the plug right off the prelit tree. Luckily it was not plugged in. But I did make my own spray deterrent and it's working so far!

Take a large empty spray bottle and fill half with vinegar and half with lemon juice concentrate. Spray liberally around the tree or area you don't want your cat to go. It may not smell seasonally accurate, but they HATE the smell and taste, so no more chewed cords.

For anyone interested in future kittens;

We will be doing ultrasound pregnancy checks on December 18. We are hoping at least 1 queen is pregnant, but we won't know before then!

We will post any news on the 18th, so keep an eye out!!!!!!!

Fingers crossed 🤞 🤞 that in about 30 days we can ultrasound Orchid and can confirm if she's expecting kittens! Kittens would be due around January 15, 2025!!!!!

How it started and how it's going! Chip was born on 6/21. 2 ounces at birth and I bottle fed him until he was strong enough to nurse off Iris. There were so many times I thought we were going to lose him. He pulled through, went through 2 bald phases, went through a picky eating phase, but now is thriving! He is the sweetest, most well behaved young man!

Paris (Blue Bicolor) & Onyx (Black Smoke Tux) will be Texas bound tomorrow! Their mom has been waiting for these boys! Then George (Blue Tux) will be leaving on Sunday. Monday the last baby will be leaving. We are getting all our cuddles in before they leave for their futures!!!!
