Joy’s Bootie Bounce

I finally got a short video of Joy's cute bootie bounce. I'll keep trying to get a longer one. She has the cutest little bootie bounce as she prances.

Tallene’s Kibble Challenge

The end of a refresher kibble challenge for Tallene right before her dinner tonight. She has food in her bowl. She always has to get and stay in a down while she waits for food in her bowl and until I tell her Ok to eat. I usually make her wait a few minutes after food is in her bowl. Occasionally I throw in a kibble challenge. I throw kibble one by one around her - closer and closer each time. She is suppose to leave it alone. She did really well. When I told her Ok she went for the food in her bowl and not on the floor. She's not to eat anything off the floor/ground. When Canine Companions for Independence puppies are in puppy training they do the kibble training challenge by spelling out their name in kibble and the dogs are to stay in their down and leave it alone. Tallene has a long name so she had lots of kibble to ignore.

Joy decided that Tallene needed a bath 😆. Joy likes to help me with cleaning things. That includes Tallene now I guess. 🤷🏻‍♀️😆

Joy Trying to Get Dora to Play

Joy likes playing with both Boots and Dora. Here Joy is trying to get Dora to play last night. Dora doesn’t want to do anything but sleep. She had just gotten home from her spay and dental. Joy is being really insistent.

I Am The Princess Tinkerbell

I came to live in my Forever Home Spring 2014. My sister Angel, was waiting for me. After a couple years Sir Bubba The Bashful came to live with us.

May 2018 we all went to meet Lady Joy aka Grandma Joy at Panda Paws Rescue and she came home with us. Lady Joy lived 11 years in a wire crate in a horrible puppy mill producing 2-3 litters a year even at 11 years! She was extremely frightened of people and didn’t know how to be a dog. We’ve all been teaching her. She’s smart! She’s been learning fast!

My sweet Sister Angel died November 2018. She was at least 19 years old. She and I were very close sisters and together for 4 years. I watched over and took care of her. We were all a little lost as we got used to The New Normal without Angel. She has left a big whole.

August 2017 Mom & I went to Santa Rosa. I had an interview at a doggie day care and she had an interview at Canine Companions for Independence. Mom got on their 2 year waitlist for a canine assistant. We’ve very excited about this. This dog will help her with lots of things I can’t do for her. I’ll have a new brother or sister sometime around August 2019!!
