Hey Plant Friends!! It’s me, HI! 👋🏼

It’s been a long time since I’ve posted anything here, I am so sorry I’ve been MIA for the past 2 years! In 2020 I decided to put all my plant events on hold due to covid restrictions and focused time on other things I had going on in my life. A lot of people have asked what I’ve been doing in the meantime and if I’ll ever revive Green Thumb.. so i figured I’d share a little about what I’ve been doing during this time and fill you in on what’s been happening over here! This is a long one, but I promise it’s worth the read!

• August 2021.. Sam and I got MARRIED! I planned 90% of this event myself and it took a lot of time and effort, but it was the most magical day. We had a blast creating our vision and bringing it to life to celebrate with our friends & families!
• September 2021.. we hunted for & purchased an amazing piece of land tucked away in South Anchorage! 🌲
• October 2021.. we packed up our lives and sold our house.. moving ourselves & the cats in with my very gracious parents while we figured out our future house plans! 📦🔑
• September 2022.. we broke ground and started clearing our lot of all the dead trees.. creating a 20 year supply of firewood in the process! 🪵
• May 2023.. we finally started moving dirt and developing our property! 🚜
• July 2023.. we started on our foundation.. but that’s only the beginning! We still need to install a well and septic system, framing, finishes.. the list goes on and on! We are hoping to be totally move in ready by January 2024.. and then the real dirty work begins, LANDSCAPING! 🌻•Summer 2024/2025 - I hope to finally start HOSTING you all at my future slice of heaven for workshops again! This time with more plants than ever!

Now here’s the most exciting part and whole reason for this post! Since I put all my events on hold, I’ve slowly started to realize the insane amount of planty items I have stashed away.. currently collecting dust in our various storage locations.

In 2021 I hosted a garage plant sale and the amount of people that showed up literally blew me away! I still can’t believe how many of you came to check out my absurdly massive collection of plants & plant accessories! So.. in an effort to make our future move a little easier for all involved, I’ve decided to SELL a ton of my plants, pots, custom soil mix.. basically all the things plant related!

Before I make it official, I wanted to put out some feelers to see if any of you would be interested! It would most likely be sometime in September 2023 - official date TBD! Is this something you’d be interested in?! I’d love to see all of your lovely faces again and chat about all things PLANTS! Let’s make a day of it and make some new plant friends in the community?! Let me know & let’s make it happen! 💚💚

Hello friends. By now, most of you have heard about the tragic events that took place at my and Sam’s gym - Turnagain CrossFit . The devastating roof collapse left some trapped or injured and ultimately took the life of one of our athletes. The crater sized hole she left behind has shaken this community to the core. She was a wife, mother, friend, social worker, and just all around great human. I have teamed up with one of the coaches from the gym and put together an online fundraiser/auction with items donated by local artists in the community. This event will be held on her Instagram for 1 day only, and all the information you need to know is written below. If you live out of state, we would be happy to figure out/cover any postage that might be necessary. I appreciate your help spreading the word about this opportunity to do something for Sadie’s family and help them through this extremely difficult time. We are stronger together.

On Monday, 2/27 at 10am, items will be posted on Instagram (TCF Coach RDRx Nutrition). Items will be posted one at a time with a starting bid. Please go up in $5 increments. Bids close at 7pm and you will be directly contacted by if you win the item. You will be asked to go directly to the GoFundMe for the Huffer family and deposit the amount of your winning bid. Screenshot your donation, and send it it to . Then you will determine how you will receive your items.
