This handsome potato is Robin. He's 4 years old and loves just about everybody he meets. Robin's also pretty smart and already knows some basic commands like sit, down and paw - and what he doesn't know he's eager to learn... especially if a treat is involved. When it comes to other doggos, he loves to wrestle and play, so we think he would probably do well with another dog in the home that can match his energy level and rough play style. Although smart, Robin still lacks some manners and will sometimes jump to say hello or pull on leash when he's excited, so he's hoping his new family is as interested in training as he is! MEET TUCKER!!

Hi! My name is Tucker, or Tuck as my foster mom calls me. I love to play and run around outside all day long. I like playing with toys, my foster sister and stray sticks in the yard. When I'm not playing hard, I'm sleeping hard. I love napping at my foster mom's feet when she does this thing she calls "work".

I have mastered the stairs in my foster home and am getting the hang of potty training, with a few accidents here and there. I am very comfortable sleeping in my crate (and am quiet as a mouse)! I also don't mind hanging in the crate when my foster mom is out. I play well with my foster sister and all her visiting dog friends of all sizes and haven't met a human I don't like either!

Tucker is a Male Yellow Lab Mix that we estimate to be born around 9/9/2021 and currently weighs 28 lbs (as of 1/21).

Fosters Needed!

Have you ever thought about becoming a foster? Well, here is your chance! We have several pups who have already or will soon complete their vetting and are in need of a place to crash until we can find their forever home.

Darcy – 3-year-old min pin chi mix, she was found as a stray and taken to a county shelter. Unfortunately, she’s Heartworm positive, but this is not contagious to other animals. She will need to remain calm during her heartworm treatment. She is sweet but nervous and warms up quickly. She gets along well with all people and animals.

Alvin – 4-month-old chi boy, 7 lbs, he is special needs. We think he was born with a brain issue that has caused his movements to be slightly exaggerated. He is otherwise normal, his balance is fine, but sometimes he gets overexcited and falls. He would do well with a calm foster that is home often to keep an eye on this little guy. He gets along well with other dogs and likely nice cats too. He gets nervous with quick movements but it’s very overwhelming for him right now. Gentle and older kids would be fine.

Huey - 7 yr old Cairn Terrier-Pekingese mix, 52 lbs, overweight before coming to PPR, gets along with other dogs.

Violet – 1-year-old Catahoula mix that was dumped in The Redlands and left to fend for herself. She weighs 31 lbs and is super sweet and kissy with all humans. She would do best in a home without other dogs.

Elton - 1-year-old 20 lb basenji mix, very sweet, active, friendly boy, said to be good with other dogs and all humans.

Tootie - 8 month old 32 lb terrier blend, very sweet, active, friendly girl, initially shy, but then turns into a total goofy puppy, said to be good with other dogs and all humans.

ANGEL BLESSINGS and BUDDY ELF (TENNESSEE)
Angel Blessings is bonded with Buddy Elf and they MUST be adopted together.
Angel Blessings is a 10 year old 10 pound Silky Terrier and Buddy Elf is a 14 year old 10 pound Silky Terrier being fostered near Ashland City, TN.
Angel came into rescue to get her leg seen by a specialist to see if her fracture in her right rear leg can be surgically repaired. The leg has been broke since about 5 months ago and due to another accident was hurt again in the same leg causing the fracture not to heal at all. She will be seeing the specialist on the 29th of December. In the meantime she has seen the Doctor and is now up to date on all shots and she is f***l and heart worm negative. She has been microchipped and is already spayed. We do know when she is well enough she will need a dental. Buddy Elf was surrendered with her as the previous owner could not bear to separate them due to their special bond. Buddy will see the Dogtor after the Christmas Holidays. Thanks so much to those that donated & shared...we just reached our goal for mama & puppies!!! Once we receive the pledges from the FB post we will be set ♥️

Sorry I’ve been MIA. I’m trying to help secure a foster for them since the one the rescuer had backed out due to illness.

So far this is the only freedom pic I have but as soon as a longer term foster is secured I’ll be able to get more. I’m told they are Staffordshire/Corgi/Chihuahua 🤣🤣. Mama is small. The pups are nursing so it’s hard to see them. Mama is scared/protective right now and needs to decompress.

There was another pup on the property(the daughter of this one from a previous litter🙄)that also had 8 newborns. We couldn’t leave them behind so I was able to find a rescue here for them. So when ready, 2 mamas and 14 babies will be coming to Idaho. We’re currently trying to find a foster for them as well in the San Antonio, Dallas or Shreveport area.

Meet Coco, a sweet 3 year old, 10 pound Yorkie girl being fostered in Azle, TX.
Coco has continued to heal and play at foster mom’s along with the rest of the pack! She is beautiful and so sweet. With the hardware to rebuild Coco’s pelvis, she cannot sit or jump. She loves to lay on the sofa with her people, and get belly rubs. She loves her joint supplements and her fish oil. She would do best in a home with people that are home most of the day. She wants to be on the sofa with you or in the bed. She would do well on short walks but always keep in mind she has hardware and she can tire if you push her. SENIOR SUNDAY: It’s Senior Sunday time and today’s feature is nearly ten-year-old Shadow. Shadow is a very special little girl who very much wanted to become her name for a while. When she first arrived, she didn’t want attention from anyone. She was very resistant to being picked up. She basically wanted to be but a shadow.

But, since then, she has made great progress. While she’s still shy and nervous about being held, she has learned routines that help her with this. She is looking for a family who will give her the love and patience she needs to continue her growth. Update: Max has gone to a rescue group in a northern state. The shelter said it was directly due to the Christmas card publicity. I’ll try to get more details!

Original post: This is Max. He’s been waiting at Gwinnett County Animal Welfare in Georgia for 248 days to get adopted.

His shelter friends are asking for a Christmas cards to decorate his kennel walls and hope to get so many the publicity and attention will get him a home!

Roxy is officially accepting applications! She is VERY sweet and pretty easy going for a German Shepherd pup! Roxy was born with both back legs being abnormal. One leg was amputated and she had an FHO on the other leg. She’s healed and once spayed next week she will be available for her forever home. Nosey - Poodle blend boy, 12 years old and 12 lbs. He's good with other dogs and cats and would love to make his way into a foster home so he can start to experience the good life. He has cataracts, but is not blind. He's a very sweet and gentle boy.

Frosty - Maltese boy, 12 years old and 8 lbs. Good with other dogs and cats. Tiny little man has lived a life of neglect, vision impaired because his dry eye went left untreated, he needs a quiet foster home to rest, relax, feel safe and just take it easy.

Brinkley - Maltese blend boy, 4 years old, 13 lbs - cute, cute, cute! He is a very friendly and sweet little boy. He was terrified at first but has since come out of his shell at the vet and soaking up all of the attention from the doting staff. He is good with adults, cats, and other dogs. Unsure about children.
