What better way to describe these cats. The Himalayan was created in the 1920's by breeding Persians with Siamese- creating Persians with colour-points. During my career as a Certified Feline Master Groomer, I have gotten the chance to work with many breeds, getting a "hands on" experience of their temperament, behaviour and maintenance needs. Although the Himalayans do require high grooming needs, their great personality and affectionate behaviour makes for a great, loving companion.

Our Story

Short Nose And Fuzzy Toes.. What better way to describe this breed! The Himalayan was created in the 1920's by breeding Persians with Siamese- creating Persians with colour-points and blue eyes! Being a Certified Feline Master Groomer, I have gotten the chance to work with many breeds, getting a "hands on" experience of their temperament, behaviour and coat maintenance needs. Although the Persians do require high grooming attention, their great personality and affectionate behaviour makes for a great, loving companion.

SNAFT Himalayan Cattery is registered in CFA and ACFA. Competing in both CFA and ACFA cat shows in Canada and America. Kittens of Show and Pet quality will be available for purchase WITH PAPERS to pet homes and for owners interested in show.
