Let’s help Lilli find a home!! She’s been waiting far too long. Please share!!
Spunky, sweet and sassy, Lilli is the full package and can’t wait to find her forever home! Lilli has been with us since she was just 3 months old when she arrived in January 2021. Here was are, over 2 years after her arrival, and she is still at our facility. She has never been fostered, but has gone on some field trips to houses and has done great in a “home” environment. But for now, all she knows is our facility and that is her home. Initially, Lilli can have a bit of stranger-danger and can be hesitant towards people she is meeting for the first time. However, after about 5 minutes, she is licking your face, leaning with all her weight against you, and sprawling on her back for belly rubs. Lilli is the absolute sweetest girl ever and is obsessed with affection from people. She wants to be as close to people as possible, and always is seeking affirmation that she’s a good girl and receiving affection from her “people”. Lilli loves to give kisses, and most days is found lounging on her cot, limbs draped over the sides, not a care in the world. She loves her pen and her cot, and is very comfortable when she gets to relax and take naps. She’s an extremely happy girl and sometimes, her excitement can get the best of her. At times, because of all of her internal excitement, she will jump and act very hyper. However, she responds incredibly to commands and will do anything to abide by the commands that people say to her and truly aims to please in every way possible. She will easily calm down after her initial burst of excitement, and is happy whether she’s going out for a long walk, or simply sitting next to a human being scratched. We currently walk Lilli with a harness and she has made great progress. She is a strong girl so does pull at times, but is improving on her walking manners and getting better every day. She will be easily trainable when it comes to commands – she is a very smart girl and always wants her people to be happy and proud of her. She picks and chooses her playmates, so we believe long-term she will be best as an only dog in a household. She loves all the attention on her, and she deserves to be solely spoiled rotten! Lilli loves chewing on bones (more than playing with traditional toys), is potty trained, and loves people. She is a wonderful size, has the best black and white spots, and her signature puppy dog eyes that will melt your heart! We can’t wait for someone to find Lilli and for her to find her happily ever after!
