We spent an hour with Auntie P at Assisi Hospice today, with Booboo sleeping on her job for a large part of the hour 😝 Then just as we said our goodbyes and were leaving, Auntie P asked if Booboo can do her "Play dead" for her before we leave (she saw it 3 week's ago when Auntie P first met Booboo). So there u go, an impromptu & improvised play dead from Booboo cos I only had one hand and can't do CPR with both 😆 We didn't know this act was actually recorded. Thank you Auntie Helen for sending it to us for keepsake 😘

A portrait of Booboo painted by Ah Ma P's very talented 10 year old grand daughter. And it is now proudly displayed in Ah Ma P's room for her to look at whenever she misses Booboo 😜 Ah Ma P is a very friendly, gentle and lovely lady whom we have been visiting at Assisi Hospice as part of the dog therapy programme. Somehow, Ah Ma P has this special unexplained affinity with Booboo. The first time Booboo met her, she asked her son to buy her treats but we managed to convince her Booboo really needed to go on a diet 😂😂😂 The second time, she invited Booboo up on her bed to lie down with her. We had to confirm with her many times if that's what she wants cos we know she's not comfortable with dogs on her bed. ♥️

We were invited to a student care centre to do a dog therapy session this afternoon. The theme was " Respect for Animals". Hoomans shared with the kids (7-12 years old) the correct way to approach dogs on the street and to always remember to ask for permission first if they want to pat a dog. Looking at our happy faces in the last photo, you would have guessed we had a ball of time and enjoyed ourselves tremendously. Who wouldn't when the kids were so engaging and so generous when feeding us 😜😆

Happy has been busy making new friends today at Assisi Hospice. 2 of them, Auntie K and Auntie L were scared of dogs and have never patted one before but guess what? Happy was able to convince them to let her sit on their laps and hitch a ride to the ward 😆 The rest were history. Now, they are best of friends! 😁

When she finally ate her first mouthful of food at 9pm just now since last night, the hoomans jumped for joy! Nothing is more important than your health, our precious girl!
