Rescue Rangers is a 501(C)(3) group that provide spays, neuters and rabies shots for metro dogs.

Dog Rescue Group: Rescue Rangers is a 501(C)(3) volunteer group who provide spays, neuters and rabies shots for as many dogs from Casper Metro Animal shelter as possible. We also provide funds for medical care for many dogs at Metro Animal Shelter. 100% of all proceeds are utilized to fund the spays, neuters, Rabies vaccinations and medical care. We raise funds through craft fair sales and private donations from supporters.

Hi Everybody:

I am so happy and very proud to share my 'doption photo with all of you. My name is Titan. Believe me, the name fits me to a "T" (no pun intended). You would have to see me in person to truly appreciate my size. I am very happy to let you all know my new furever family includes a bulldog who is the same size as me!!!! The minute I saw my now family completing our 'doption paperwork, I sat right by the front entrance staring at the door and waiting for it to be opened so we could go HOME!

Hi Everyone! My name is Peach. I was on transport to the vet to be spayed and given a rabies vaccination on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, I rode well in the crate and enjoyed listening the music on the radio. I am likely a heeler mix, and my age is estimated at about 1 year, 2 months old. I walk well on leash, and would love to go on walks with you. Come to Metro Animal Shelter, let's go for a walk and talk about becoming a family!

Hi Everybody: Mark your calendars for every Saturday morning, beginning July 27, 2024 through September 28, 2024. Why you may wonder? It is Farmers Market at the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds. Rescue Rangers will be there again this year selling products to raise funds for the purpose of spaying/neutering, along with providing a rabies shot, for one Metro Animal Shelter dog per week throughout the year. 100% of all proceeds literally "goes to the dogs"! You will find us there each and every Saturday beginning July 27th. We have lots and lots of new fabrics this year, and some new products as well. Hope to see you all there. We are located on the back side of the Agricultural Building. Come check out our new fabrics and products!

Whew! I made it through July 4th! I was neutered and given a rabies vaccination Weds, July 3, 2024. My name is Mr. Pickles. Yes, Miss Pickles is my sister - you may remember her from the last week of June. At any rate, I weigh 22 pounds. I loaded onto transport like a champ! I am likely very playful, and very loving. I am estimated to be approximately 5 years old. I am now searching for my furever home, and I would love to meet everyone who might be interested in 'dopting me. Come to Metro Animal Shelter, and let's see if we can become a family!

Man-o-man. . . I tell you what. . . .being 'dopted and going home with my now furever family was beyond AWESOME!! We had a great time getting to know each other, doing our 'doption paperwork, then opening the door and walking out of the building to head home!

Hi All: Guess what??? Yep, I was 'dopted in June, just a couple of days after I went to the vet to be spayed and given a rabies vaccination. It was soooooo much fun watching my family complete the 'doption paperwork, and then walking out the door with them to go HOME!

Guess what???!!!! Yes!!! I have been 'dopted. I already luv my mom and dad with all my heart! As you can see from the pictures my family sent, I am loving my new family and home! My name is Nessie. I even have a furkid sibling to play with. My mom sent a message to Rescue Rangers, and here is what she had to say:

"She's doing great! A big cuddle bug, that is for sure!"

Every time someone would come by my kennel, I would do my best to get their attention. . .you know, do a little dance in my kennel, talk to them, turn a couple spins. It worked! It did not take long for my now furever family and I to fall in love with one another and make it official. I was over the moon happy when we left the building to go HOME!

Good morning, everyone! I am so very happy to tell everyone I have been 'dopted. You might remember, I went to the vet to be spayed and given a rabies vaccination on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. I am excited to tell you all - I was 'dopted Saturday, June 29, 2024! Besides my mom and dad, I have 2 little hoomans to play with, and I am looking forward to all the fun we will have!

Hi Everybody! My name is Tiny Tina and I am here to let you know how happy I am to have found my furever family. We met one another, and I think I "wrapped them around my little finger" when we met!! I even have two furkid siblings - how cool is that? No doubt we will have lots of fun playing with one another. I was very excited and happy when I heard the words: we are a family now! Do you love smaller dogs? Well, then, I just might be the one for you. My name is Miss Pickles, and when RR took me to the vet yesterday (Weds, 6/26/2024), to be spayed and given a rabies vaccination, I weighed 19.2 pounds. I was very quiet riding in the crate to the vet, and riding back to Metro Animal Shelter after I was spayed and vaccinated. I am now accepting 'doption applications. By the way, I came in with another dog like me - my brother. Maybe you might entertain the notion of 'dopting both of us together? Come to Metro Animal Shelter and we can meet one another. I am waiting. . . .

Wowser, Wowser . . . . Lucky Bowser!!! That's me - Bowser. The minute my furever family and I looked into each other's eyes, we knew we were meant to be together. With that in mind, we wasted no time doing our 'doption pawper work, and as soon as it was finished - out the door we went!

Whew!! I waited and waited and waited and waited some more. I was beginning to worry no one would 'dopt me, but I kept up my spirits and "interviewed" everyone who stopped at my kennel. I was there several months. Imagine my joy when my door opened, and I was taken to the reception area where I met my now furever family! Yes, indeed, It was a happy, happy day. I am excited to think about all the fun my fam and I are going to share together.

Hi Everybody! I am Reba (no relation to the famous Reba.) I was very excited when I found myself out in the front yard of the shelter on Wednesday morning, 6/19/2024. In fact, I was so excited, it was all I could do to stand still long enough for a "going to the vet to be spayed and given a rabies vaccination" picture. Even though I was excited, I was very quiet during my ride to the vet clinic. Once there, I happily walked into the clinic for my spay and rabies vaccination. I am now back at Metro Animal Shelter, so whaddya say - why not come on up and we can meet one another? I am estimated to be approximately 1 year old. I will happily accept 'doption applications - come to Metro and let's see if we become a family.

Hi Everyone! Hope you are enjoying a great day. I was way excited this morning when Cody brought me out of the shelter to load on transport to go to the vet clinic. Yep - I went to be spayed and given a rabies vaccination. Now I am ready to find my furever family. By the way, my name is Spring. . .which is kinda cool considering we are in the spring months right now. I am very playful and would likely love playing fetch with a ball with my family once I am adopted. I got in the crate this morning, and never uttered a peep during the early morning ride, which I thoroughly enjoyed. When I arrived at the vet's, I unloaded with no problem and made a new friend with the lady who came to walk me into the building. I am now accepting applications for my adoption, and would love to have you apply. Come to Metro, fill out an application, and we can meet each other and see if we are a match. I am looking forward to finding my furever fam, so, what do you say, let's meet each other and see how things go from there! I am looking forward to meeting you and I hope you are looking forward to meeting me!

There are no words to express how scared, worried, sad, and confused I was when I found myself in the shelter. When I was taken to the front to meet my now furever family, I was so hopeful we would all 'dopt one another, and we did!!!! YAY!!!!

Really??? You are not kidding me, right??? YAHOO!! I found my furever family and we all immediately fell in love with one another. Does not get any better than that! My name is Moose. There I was - watching the "foot traffic" go by my kennel while I was wondering if I would find my furever family. Well, well, well, whaddya know???!!! I was still pondering being 'dopted when the door of my kennel was opened and I was taken to the front to meet my now furever family. I was so excited, I did not know what to do, so I did my best to show my now family how happy I was we 'dopted each other. Such a wonderful feeling to be adopted, and to walk out the door with my fam.

I had just learned my now furever family and I had 'dopted one another, and was going to give my fam a big ol' kiss, when I heard the "click" of the camera taking my 'doption photo! That is okay - it shows my happiness and joy at being 'dopted!!!! I do love my family, that is fur sure.

I loved the sunshine on my face when I was going to load on transport and go be spayed and provided a rabies vaccination. It felt so good to be outside again. I jumped in the crate the minute I saw it in the transport vehicle. I got cozy inside the crate and never uttered a peep during the entire ride. When I got to the vet clinic, I hopped out of the crate right away and made a new friend from the vet clinic. It was fun - she talked to me the entire way into the building. After that, the next thing I remember is being quite groggy and heading back to the shelter. My name is Saber, and I am now looking for my furever family and home. I walk well on leash and would enjoy going for lots of walks. As you can see, I have beautiful fur which is made for petting! I am estimated to be approximately 4 years old, and of course, I am spayed and have my rabies shot. I ride great in the car and enjoy going for a ride. Please come to Metro Animal Shelter so we can meet one another and maybe become a family.

I was so happy when I found out I was going to be spayed and provided a rabies vaccination! In fact, when I found out I was going to the vet, I immediately began a "happy dance" and it took 11 pictures just to get one of me for this post. Silly me!!! I was just having too much fun!! I am listed as an Anatolian Shepherd mix, and my age is estimated at 7 months. I have a very happy personality and am looking forwarding to finding my furever family. I am now accepting applications for my 'doption. Come to Metro Animal Shelter, let's get to know one another, and maybe we will become a family. I am waiting to meet you. . . .

I may look like a big girl, but guess what?. . . .I only weigh 28 #. My name is Fawn, and this is me on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, when I was preparing to go be spayed and given a rabies vaccination. I wanted to be held "forever" in Miss Cody's arms! You, see, I am a very cuddly and loving little girl who is 1 year old. I appear to be leash trained and I enjoy a nice walk. When you hold me, I will do my best to lay my little head on your shoulder and give you my heart and my love. I am looking for my furever home, and I would love to meet you. Well, my, my, my. I thought it was way cool when I was chosen to attend the recent "Night With a Cop" event at David Street Station. Little did I know how truly cool it was going to be. You see, the main reason I was there (along with some of the other puppers in Metro Animal Shelter), was to be part of an 'doption event. So, yep, guess what?. . . .indeed, I was 'dopted! It was amazing to go home with my new furever family!
