Karen truly influenced the way I train. Many years ago I was struggling with the then popular training methods of jerk and pull - negative training. I knew there had to be a better way. I attended one of Karen’s seminars and never looked back. A trail blazer for positive training, she leaves behind a legacy of positive animal trainers world wide, of which I am proud to be a member! Looking for a fun sport to do with your dog? Join us at Poised for Success Freestyle for our Winter session of Freestyle classes beginning January 13, 2025. If you are a beginner with no training, that's fine; if your dog has had some training, that's fine too - there is a level for everyone. If you have a puppy or if your dog is a senior we have classes for them too :) Everyone is welcome!

No 'dancing skills' are required by the handler. But you can dance, if you want to :)

You can work in the comfort of your own home. No need to go to a large training facility because all classes can be adapted for small spaces. No fancy equipment required. All you need is internet access and you can use your phone to video your exercises. Classes are in a private Facebook format which only those enrolled in the class have access to.

You and your dog will have the opportunity to earn a Poised for Success Canine Musical Freestyle title!

A little trip down 'Memory Lane' - a very joyful Tia doing some Freestyle, just click on the link below. As I watched it today I smiled through a river of tears. Her routine wasn't perfect then, but it sure is now!
